Monday Night RAW paved the way for the second round of the WWE Draft 2024. On the cards, it was announced that the United States Champ, Logan Paul, would be here. However, what wasn’t announced was that he would be bringing some friends with him, namely Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes was part of the winning team of the Super Bowl 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs. So, is he here for good or just for a one-off?

With the second round of the WWE Drafts 2024 underway, he could be here for the announcement. He was also wearing a PRIME necklace, which might hint at a future sponsorship from the US Champ.

Patrick Mahomes announces the second round of the WWE Draft 2024 and helps Logan Paul

The show kicked off with Logan Paul arriving at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. With him were Mahomes and IShowSpeed. Greeting them was The Judgment Day. Damian Priest had some words of praise for Paul, claiming the title belt looked good on him. An interesting line by Paul to Priest was that at Backlash, he would be ending Jey Uso. Could this be a hint about a team-up? Well, as the night progressed, it was clear that Mahomes was here for two reasons. The first was to announce the second round of the WWE Draft, Mahomes and IShowSpeed came out to make the announcement.

Paul had something to say after they announced which wrestlers would be on RAW and SmackDown. He called out Jey Uso, who said that Jake Paul was better during a backstage interview. However, Paul had backup when Jey came out to confront him. The Judgment Day surrounded Mr. Main Event, leading to Paul getting the upper hand. Here is the second reason why Mahomes was present. He handed Paul three Championship rings to use as brass knuckles.

While Paul attempted to hit Jey with the ring-clad hand, a last-minute duck lead to JD McDonagh eating the knuckle sandwich. To even the odds, Braun Stroman, who was drafted to RAW, made his return. Coming out to aid Jey, the duo got everyone to scurry away. Stroman even picked a verbal fight with Mahomes before Jey broke it up. It is clear that Mahomes was only here for one night to announce the draft. He may show up again in the future, but there is no official word about his status with the WWE.
