Watch Iron Man fight Mega Man in new 'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite' trailer

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - PSX 2016: Reveal Trailer | PS4
It’s been a long time since fans have seen Iron Man take on the Blue Bomber, but that wait will finally be coming to an end.

At the PlayStation experience in Anaheim, California, Capcom unveiled the new trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the latest entry in the long-running fighting game series. Capcom also announced that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is being re-released on current-gen systems as a digital download.

As the trailer opens, Mega Man approaches in what looks like an infinity stone before being blasted away by a blue energy beam. Luckily, Ryu, from Street Fighter, iss there to pick him up. The camera then pans up to Iron Man as he begins his barrage against Capcom’s most iconic figures. Ryu powers up to punch Iron Man away. That’s when Ms. Marvel comes into frame and all four run toward each other. The trailer then goes to black and shows what appears to be Ultron.

Marvel vs. Capcom was originally released in arcades as a cross-over fighter. Unlike most fighting games, Marvel vs. Capcom had players picking two characters, and swapping them out during battle. It quickly gained popularity and was soon released on consoles.

Even though Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is five years old, it was still featured in this year’s Evolution Championship fighting game tournament in Las Vegas. There, top players from around the world convened to see who would be this year’s champion. This year it went to Christopher “NYChrisG” Gonzalez.

More information and new characters will be revealed on December 4 on ESPN2 at 5:30 p.m. PT during the Capcom Cup Street Fighter V tournament. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is available today for $25 on PlayStation Network and will be out in March 2017 on Xbox Live.

A release date for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has not been set.

The Sims 5: release date speculation, trailers, gameplay, and more
sims 4 for rent expansion pack shared living the 6

It's time to brush up on your Simlish if it's rusty because the long-awaited The Sims 5, aka Project Rene, is officially on the way. This has been the longest gap between main entries since the series began, and while we did get tons of expansions for The Sims 4 to hold us over, plus the change to it becoming free to play, we're more than ready for a new entry. Each time a new game in the franchise comes out, die-hard fans always need to have a bit of skepticism about what features will be there -- both new and returning. Again, the last entry eventually got to a great spot, but it certainly wasn't there at launch. We can't answer all your questions yet, but here's everything we know about The Sims 5.
Release date speculation

Still referred to by the code name Project Rene, The Sims 5 (which we will call it until the official title is revealed) does not have a release window as of now. Developer Maxis did state it was working on it in October 2022 at the Behind the Sims Summit presentation. The only clue we got there was this statement from Lyndsay Pearson, franchise creative vice president: "Over the next couple of years, we'll continue sharing updates with all of you on Project Rene." Based on that, we can speculate that The Sims 5 won't come before 2025 at the earliest.

Hollow Knight: Silksong: release date speculation, trailers, gameplay, and more
Hollow Knight Silksong

The original Hollow Knight was first released in 2017 and was immediately recognized as one of the most impressive entries in the Metroidvania genre, indie or not. The immaculate hand-drawn art style made even the dank, drab world full of bugs known as Hollownest a truly endearing place to explore. Combined with the tight platforming controls, light Soulslike elements, satisfying upgrades, and cryptic story, Hollow Knight soared to the top of many critics' and players' favorite games lists.

Team Cherry, the three-person team behind Hollow Knight, didn't stop there. The team continued working on the game for the following year with four pieces of DLC that expanded the game's world and added new enemies, bosses, quests, and game modes. Initially planned as yet another piece of DLC, Hollow Knight: Silksong, originally called Hornet, became so large that Team Cherry decided to make it a full sequel. The development of this new entry has been as mysterious as the world it is set in, with many important questions still shrouded in darkness. As we wait for our next dive into the world of bugs, here's everything we know about Hollow Knight: Silksong.
