Default Which version of Windows does Reaper like most ?

Coming from an Apple background, I've always been looking at Windows with a bit of scepticism ...

I now run a Windows Trust on my MacPro. A few crashes here and there (uh... these ugly blue screens are frightening ;-) but globally ok.

Now, I did this because I wanted to get rid of all the small apps and functions running in the background in a standard Windows and making it heavier, less stable and less efficient.

What do you guys use ?
What is the most reliable/stable/powerful Windows version to your opinion ?

thanx for your advice,

mio*star

I personally find XP SP2 is the most reliable. I found that SP3 had a few small glitches with some software. This may change real soon with a 64 bit version on the way. Maybe when Windows 7 (codename) is released it will be the best for REAPER.
