My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Kenmore Inn and loved its charm. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed. Breakfast was also very good. The pub and restaurant were closed both nights, but we had a great meal at a local restaurant recommended by the Inn's staff. Very good locale for visiting nearby historical sites.

My friend and I stayed in the Washington suite (203). We had stayed in the same suite several years ago on a trip to Fredericksburg. However, even though their website said the inn had been updated, I failed to comprehend that the former 2 bedrooms was now a bedroom and living area with a sleep sofa. That was no big deal, but having no door on the living room was somewhat of a nuisance since every time one of us used the bathroom, it disturbed the person in this room. Other than the sleeping arrangements we were very pleased with our stay. The rooms are large and comfortable and we did not hear any noise from the other guests coming and going in the hallway. It is located on a busy street so you do hear some street sounds. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Kenmore Inn is nice place to stay in Fredricksburg, well located and operated by a very pleasant staff. It is not luxurious though and certain amenities need to be fixed, e.g. the second floor coffee station had a broken coffeemaker which was not replaced during my two nights' stay. The public lounge was not inviting; no comfortable chairs or sofas, no books or games.. Its main draw is location : one can walk anywhere downtown within minutes.

Had a very nice two night stay at The Kenmore Inn. We stayed in the Rose Room which was a nice size. The Kenmore Inn is an historic inn, not a traditional B&B. Our room was comfortable, the front porch and gardens are beautiful and a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Our breakfasts were excellent--great choices, good food, pleasant service. The Inn is located within an easy walking distance of the historic downtown sites. It is also an easy drive to the Civil War battlefields. We had dinner in the downstairs restaurant at the inn on our second night. The food was wonderful and there is a very nice bar there as well. Only complaint about our stay would be that insulation is poor and noise travels easily.

Our family of 4 (one student daughter and one recent graduate daughter) spent the final night of a touring trip of Virginia in the Washington Suite of The Kenmore Inn and it was fabulous! All too often the final stage of a long planned holiday can be something of a let down, but this inn, and being in Fredericksburg itself, kept the holiday momentum going for us right to the very end. We were impressed with the extremely comfortable accommodation, the friendly, informative and helpful staff, and most of all that the Inn was in the middle of hosting wedding events throughout our stay but we at no time felt as though we were in the way. The Kenmore Inn was really great and was one of the highlights for us of an already 1st class holiday in Virginia.

We weren't sure what to expect since we hadn't visited before but we were charmed and delighted. Our room (at the front of the house) was beautiful, immaculate and well-appointed. The bed was more comfortable than my own at home. A bottle of champagne was waiting (the cooler filled with rose petals--a lovely touch.) We were very surprised to find such excellent, seasonal cuisine in the restaurant and chose to have dinner there both nights of our stay rather than go elsewhere. Without fail, every member of the staff was unfailingly friendly, courteous and helpful. We'll be back.

We found this bed and breakfast to be fine. It is close to town, and the room was very nice. The facility is a bit busy - there was a shower going on while we were there, which does cut off your enjoyment a bit of the sitting rooms. The best part of this place, in our humble opinion, was a small bar in the lower level. A U-shaped, copper-topped bar, that almost seemed like a speak-easy. I'm not counting the days until I return to this hotel, but I'll certainly drop by this bar when I go through Fredricksburg again.

This inn is in lovely spot, near to historic downtown Fredericksburg. The room was wonderful, but very warm, even in January. The bathroom was tiny. However, the bed and pillows were fantastic and the hospitatlity was top notch. Breakfast was delicious. All in all, a wonderful hotel.

Called for a reservation for our anniversary to eat. They offered a quiet table overlooking the patio, said they could put a bottle of wine out with a table cloth. I really appreciated this, and added a cheese platter to be ready as well. You always wonder if they can deliver. We arrived, and not only did they deliver it was more than I could have hoped for. I thought they missed the cheese, but no, they brought it right out letting it chill while we arrived. Perfect timing between courses, not rushing the service but very attentive. There was a acoustic bluegrass band that was playing later that evening, and I asked what kind of bluegrass and mentioned a name of a artist I knew as a reference. They appeared not to know, but as we sat down the artist I mentioned came on

Traveled last minute to Fredericksburg and found this historic gem! Location was wonderful for local sightseeing. The convenience of being so close to downtown shopping and dining was fantastic but was far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle on the busy weekend evenings. We stayed in the Gardens of Belmont room and the room was immaculate and we were pleasantly surprised with a decanter of Sherry waiting for us on the dresser. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was superb and the wait staff very helpful with suggestions. Morning breakfast was made to order and refreshingly delightful and prompt. We loved this Bed & Breakfast and are looking forward to another trip to Fredericksburg now.
