The people renting out the kayaks are very nice, and the process easy as can be. - SB1114Irvine, CA756 contributionsThis company offers two 45 minute tours of Newport Harbor. One tour goes more towards the interior of the bay, and the other goes out towards the jetty and around a buoy with sea lions on it. You can buy both and just stay on the boat. We are locals, and it is still very worthwhile to get some of the commentary about the various islands and homes, and celebrities who owned/own them, and obviously a great way to entertain out of town guests. You can also take any food and drinks, including alcohol, to enjoy on the cruise. There is a small bathroom available.
I would recommend sitting on the left side of the boat if you are going to see the sea lions on the buoy, as they circled around on that side only; they didn’t turn around and go the other direction for the people on the other side (suggestion to captains!)Written January 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Staff were friendly and very safety conscious, made sure bikes fit for all and gave great instructions to out first timer to E bikes. We had a blast! - A V T180 contributionsRented Tikiboat for my daughters 17th Birthday. We had a few early issues- reservation done online, got confirmation page(lucky I printed it) but no confirm by email. Day before we were notified that boat engine was out! Too late for us to change venues.
Hank took care of us, we got a discount, and a way to still get a ride for the whole party around the harbor. The night was a success, all the crew was very accommodating, helpful and understanding of the situation. DJ Sly was great and worked with us also.
