ICTS will be conducting scheduled maintenance from 07:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, 12 May 2024 and again from 06:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, 19 May 2024.
Limited ICT services will be available, unless advised to the contrary, for the duration of the maintenance slots.
Special General Meeting of Convocation
Please be advised that as confirmed at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the UCT Convocation, a Special General Meeting of the Convocation will be convened. The meeting will be on a virtual online platform (Microsoft Teams) and is scheduled to take place at 17:00 on Tuesday, 28 May 2024.
Council Elections 2024 – Donor Ballot
A call for nominations of candidates for election was sent out to donors on 7 March 2024.
Three nominations have been received for the election by donors of two members to serve on the UCT Council. An electronic ballot will be held. Eligible donors will have received an email in this regard.
Council’s letters to individuals referenced in the panel’s report
The UCT Chair of Council, Mr Norman Arendse (SC), has written letters of apology to individuals who have been wronged as referenced in the report of the independent panel, as well as to the 37 anonymous complainants referred to in the Ombud Report.
