What ya think the biggest difference between Bronx & Brooklyn drill ?

Bk had the energy in 15 and 16 and 17 but that hungry energy not there anymore....the samples is another thing. In Bk producers started recycling the same UK style beats and shit..while in the BX they began using samples heavy this year and people gravitated to that. Niggas forget rap especially NYC rap was built on samples so it’s only natural that samples and sampling became popular again and the Bx is benefiting frm it.

BX drill is just in your face crazy shit... its way more disrespectful, the samples are ridiculous, the rappers are younger. Sound-wise the rappers have way more aggressive vocals and focus on sounding as evil as possible instead of as lyrical as possible - obviously with many exceptions - some rappers like Lee Drilly and Spazz Drilly definitely go for lyricism and wordplay over screaming crazy shit

BK drill has more old school lyricism and the beats are smoother. Envy Caine, Tazzo B, CoachDaGhost, JayDee and 26AR are all lyrical af. DThang, Sha Ek and Kay Flock are just not the same.

I love both and I think when you compare them combined to the rest of the world we got the best drill scene of all time.

I from the X I can for sure say Brooklyn has the better rappers as in flowing and lyrics the only thing I can give the Bronx is that they give a aggressive drill sound like how Chicago was but I like BK drill better with the flows they had in its prime
