Santa Barbara Reviews

Born in SB, It was great as a kid lots of nice people, good beaches etc. however my experience will not be your experience. Lots of natural beauty, good parks, etc. don’t be fooled into thinking nothing bad happens here. My best friend was murdered in 1st grade. Yes bad things happen here too. It was amazing in the 80’s and 90’s but if you recently moved here you will have nothing to compare it to and therefore it could be your paradise, just bring lots and lots of money because the only thing free here is a stroll on the beach. A tad jaded but I was very lucky to have grown up here and experienced the best of it, very grateful for some great memories. Enjoy it while you can!
Santa Barbara is such an incredible city to live in--great weather, beautiful, vibrant culture. However, it can start to feel small after living here a while, and is certainly difficult to afford.
Santa Barbara is a great place to live. The public transportation could be improved and only some parts of town are walkable. There are not many places to shop anymore, but there are many restaurants and other activities to do. The beaches and parks are beautiful.
