- Stewarts Vacation1,037 contributionsThis is the main cruise ship terminal for Vancouver. The architecture is the drawcard, with the five distinctive white sails making it a recognisable landmark around the world. The area is rich in cultural and historical significance and well worth a wander.Written January 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SFBayPeninsulaSan Francisco, CA26 contributionsYou get a beautiful view of Vancouver for much less than you pay for at the Space Needle in Seattle. Perfect timing, we went just before sunset and the lighting was beautiful and got great pictures before and at sunset. We spotted Gastown from up there and that's where we went afterwards. It's a beautifully lit area to take a stroll, grab coffee or dinner, and shop.Written January 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dimitris LSydney, Australia45,617 contributionsVancouver Public Library is an unusual building, bearing a resemblance, on the outside, to the Roman Colosseum. It is a vast building and quite attractive as well. From the top floor the views of the city are incredibly beautiful. This is an architecturally wonderful building worth visiting.Written December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel25346533585168 contributionsScience World has an interesting mix of science. There are many interesting exhibits. We visited with our young nephews and nieces and they really enjoyed it. It is obviously a small city exhibit. Enjoy it for what it is. A good rainy day attraction.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- milliegordon2Southbury, CT671 contributionsThis was very fun to see. However, the crowds were ridiculous and the area had a few too many homeless for me. It said that it "blows" every 4-1/2 minutes, but it is inconsistent. We waited over 10 minutes to see it go off.Written September 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- J M2 contributionsOn of the best galleries I went to, I highly recommend visiting it. It’s a very unique and personal experience. - Jen WFenton, MI208 contributionsAs other travelers have noted, the garden has seen better days. For this reason we opted for the private tea ceremony.
Veronica, our tea artist, was lovely and knowledgeable. She obviously loves everything about tea and her enthusiasm was contagious. We tried three different teas and talked about different tea rituals. I was expecting an actual ceremony, but the relaxed nature was still very nice.
We quickly walked the garden afterwards. Sadly, not much to see. We had driven through the neighborhood the day before, and seen all the homeless people. We were assured the neighborhood was safe, but it was still sad to see. It was raining so we opted for an Uber.Written February 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
