A big name shop has closed its doors in Trinity Leeds.
The closure of the store leaves a unit vacant at the shopping centre. It probably won’t come as a surprise to see The Calendar Club shut with, understandably, its appeal tending to come during a short period in the year.
Those visiting Trinity Leeds will find some of The Calendar Club’s branding and shelving remaining in their former shop. Thankfully, there’s not much doom and gloom for the shopping centre with two major new openings on the horizon.

As we’ve previously reported, Zara will be relocating to Trinity Leeds in the coming weeks. The fashion brand will be taking over the former Topshop unit at the shopping centre.
It will include Zara’s Woman, Man, and Kids collections over three floors. Steven Foster, centre director at Trinity Leeds, said: “We’ve been working hard on securing a top retailer for the impressive unit that Topshop previously occupied, and we’re so pleased that Zara has seized the opportunity to create an exciting new shopping experience for guests within this incredible space at Trinity Leeds.
“This big signing is proof that prime retail locations like Trinity Leeds, which sits in the heart of the city centre, continue to be in demand, and we can’t wait for people to see what Zara has planned.” Elsewhere, another new addition in Leeds city centre is the Nike Rise concept store.
It will be based in the former Victoria’s Secret premises. Features include a digitally powered Footwear Fastlane which shares footwear product stories, benefits and technical information, Nike by You personalisation - allowing shoppers to customise new Nike products and a bra and leggings destination, helping female athletes find the right fit.
Mr Foster added: “We’re proud to welcome Nike Rise to Trinity Leeds, giving guests the chance to experience something new and exciting that they won’t be able to find anywhere else in the region.
“It speaks volumes that such an iconic international brand has chosen Trinity Leeds, demonstrating the strength of the centre – and the city – as a go-to retail destination.”
