Sheng Siong aims to open at least 3 new stores every year over next 3-5 years
SHENG Siong is aiming to open between 3 and 5 new outlets every year over the next 3 to 5 years in Singapore, said the supermarket chain in a bourse filing on Wednesday (Apr 20).
These are part of the company's plans to continue expanding its footprint in Singapore, as well as in Kunming, China.
Responding to questions from its shareholders ahead of the company's annual general meeting to be held on Apr 26, Sheng Siong said it would continue to look out for retail spaces in new and existing public housing estates, particularly in areas where it does not have a presence.
