Who remembers an MMO called 2moons?

Honestly the reason it probably stood out was because you just played it. You didn't try to compete with everyone and look up the best builds or fastest way to level. I believe this mindset is what makes mmos not fun. Also part of the reason I say that is because I think 2moons was actually pretty shite IIRC.

Yoooo! 2Moons was my shit! I mained bagi warrior. I loved the game for not having horrible pk consequences! When I played it seemed as though it was just my group of friends I met there and anothee group. I played for about 6 months or so. I dont know what happened to the game.

2moons was like one of the first MMOs I played ever besides eudemons and conquer online. I remember I was like a necromancer with a spider thing, and I would set my spider up to auto attack at an NPC spawn to level me over night haha. Good time.

Edit: I was probably like 10 or 11 when I played and I’m 25 now.

private servers of this game have been popular for many many years. the mob killing was kinda mesmerizing, because of the splatter when the hp reached 0.

I played 2moons back when it was INSANELY hard to level up (the quests gave like nothing in exp) and it would take you whole day of farming to get 10% exp even at lv40~. That was about 10+ years ago.

I loved playing it! I played a summoner at the time just because I was in love with having pets! I got pretty far into the game but stopped short of getting my wings. Recently played on a private server that was low rate and had fun grinding with friends! :)

For some reason that MMO hit all the right buttons for me, but at the same time I had no idea what was going on

For me,that would be perfect world online. Something about it makes me look back to that game and accidentally wander around PK zone.

My friend's and I got super into that game. I miss it.

Used to play it when it first came out. Grindy as shit! It was always fun to watch lv100+ players or whatever duel it out with their cool looking wings and shit though.

2Moons was interesting to most because it had really gory kills. I don't think I've played an MMO with more gore since... that shit got everywhere. It was Unreal Tournament level to my memory.

lol few days ago i was thinking about this game but i couldn't remember the name 🤣 this game was so good!

Played it when it was under the now defunct Acclaim games.

Loved the concept artwork back then for the game but taking off the rose-tinted glasses, outside of the cool summoner class, it doesn't have much going for it.

Extremely grindy and the art direction for the game doesn't quite hold up well.

I was playing dekaron couple months ago, PvP is pretty pay-2-win :(.. And it's very easy to lvl up too.. 2moons was my first mmo..

I did play that but sadly on private server, love the class and gameplay wish there is a remake.

Wish it has a sequel, it was a fun pvp game and even the pve was amusing.

Nowadays it's meh, but there will be a mobile version soon.

I honestly remember it, played a bagi warrior as well, got my wings but shortly after stopped playing. If I remember correctly, the enhancement system for gear was pretty RNG and gear could be downgraded. It wasn't for me after that point, still a kinda fond memory.

2Moons was so fun its like a boomer PoE haha. Seriously tho the armor looked so bad ass in that game and the enviornment was awesome!!

Played the closed beta I think. Friend and I found exploits where you could afk level summoner and also you could log in on two clients at once, trade everything to one, then log out on that one last to dupe everything which led to us having crazy socketed gear and running around on the same person killing/dueling higher levels. Generally just being silly.

I seem to remember a fish bot too(bat that spammed "L") but that may have been another game.

I played that game. I remember the developer hyping it up majorly before release, talking about how it would be the most innovative MMO on the market and was doing all sorts of things that had never been done before.

I honestly found the game to be kinda boring though. Some of the combat was ok, but it just didn't feel like there was that much to do.

Yeh, I played it for a bit in my "f2p shitty MMOs" phase a few years ago. It was pretty much just your bog standard p2w asia grinder that didn't have anything that set it apart.

This was the first MMO I ever played as a kid! It probably wouldn't hold up now, but I have very fond memories of playing a summoner. I wish more games had that class!

Lmao I loved 2moons or Dekaron (think i played both). Just used to run around the snow and jungle maps grinding and pvping and had no clue what i was supposed to be doing, fun times.

If I remember good, in europe was called Dekaron. I used to play 9dragons they had the same publisher. Acclaim .

I still play 9dragins to this day , started in 2007 lol

Damn maan. I played my Summoner till some very late game raids. Dekaron was a really cool game that did the end-game things well

I remeber this too much grinding but i was probably a bad player

Loved it and it's now my standard for PvP game is this new game better PvP wise than Dekaron Yes/No, for now none of the new mmorpg was a yes, too much instanced PvP and too much penalty for PvPing in new games.

2moons is my alltime favorite mmorpg. if they remade it, it would blow these other mmos out the water

I remember it had an inbuild mp3 player and the awesome song that played during battle. I also remember that it ended with everyone having GM powers or grinding with hacks teleporting monsters to them then AOE' them down

Weirdly when I played that game it was before a big vacation on a flight at like 4 am so me and my brother played it instead of getting sleep. I seem to recall is was kind of fun but just never played it after we got back from the vacation.

Back then there were SO many "new" mmos to us that it was rare that I played it for more than 1-5 days except for WoW. I missed a lot of the old mob grinding MMO gameplay. Sadly I didn't even realize that was a thing so whenever I played random games I just wandered randomly and quit a few hours later.

My attention span was quite bad back then and just found games where you quests not stop the "best". Ironically now I never want to touch a mmo that is just going from quest to quest now.

I put a couple hundred hours into 2moons back in the day when acclaim use to run it. It kind of went to shit when nexon took over. They somehow let a gold company take over website management and had this pop up appear whenever you went on the site that asked you to change your password because of a breach or something. A lot of people lost all their shit, i lost all my items too so i quit the real game.

They had planned a Dekaron 2 but i think that died. Nowadays there are just private servers that are probably more active than global/na. Such a gem for the time but looking into it now it's a pretty stale game.

Yup, I also played the big bald guy because his armor sets and knuckle weapons looked really unique. I also played the summoner a lot, I remember there was a scorpion you could get. I never got that far into the game because I was just a clueless kid, but really enjoyed the gory aesthetic

Necroing this thread but, summoner main here. I'd play this shit non stop, I'd even play it at my buddys place when my parents kicked me out of the house. 

I played it as Brewen and DeathbringerDrago. I loved it
