  • Melania Trump lied about her college degree
  • Melania Trump was busted for lying about her school
  • Melania Trump did not graduate

Melania Trump previously said that she graduated from college in Slovenia with a degree in architecture and design. However, this was proven to be a lie.

The FLOTUS also claimed that she studied at a university in Slovenia, and sources revealed that this may not necessarily be the case either.

In the book “Melania Trump: My World,” Donald Trump’s wife’s brief biography reveals that she studied at the University of Slovenia. After her graduation, she started pursuing her modeling career in different parts of the world.

But according to Snopes, there is no such thing as the University of Slovenia or University in Slovenia. Slovenia is home to a slew of other colleges, including the University of Ljubljana, which other publications claimed was Melania’s school.

CBS News reportedly looked into the school’s list of graduates, and they found out that the FLOTUS had not made it to her graduation day. After she was busted for lying, the first lady’s bio page on her husband’s government website claimed that she paused her studies to advance her modeling career in Milan and Paris.

Blaz Matija Vogelnik, Melania’s former professor, also said that the FLOTUS did not graduate from the University of Ljubljana.

“She hasn’t finished university, at least not in Ljubljana. My personal opinion is that because she was a very beautiful girl… I believe that she realized that she could gain more with that [modeling] than to have long studies,” he told NBC News.

Meanwhile, Melania’s education isn’t the only thing that she was criticized for. Some netizens don’t also understand why the FLOTUS obtained an Einstein Visa. This type of visa is usually reserved for those who have extraordinary abilities.

However, critics claimed that the FLOTUS doesn’t have extraordinary abilities and she wasn’t an exceptional model either. Susan McFadden, a specialist U.S. visa lawyer, said that the first lady is qualified for the visa because testimonials for high-profile individuals are considered.
