torrentz2 has been shut down and there seems no alternative

torrentz2 has been down for 2 days,,

maybe this time it has gone for good?

I have tried other search engines but nothing come even close to torrentz2..

other search engines results are just so poor when those are compared to torrentz2..

Maybe it was the only metasearch engine on the web I guess.

Why title your thread "has been shut down" when you don't know?

Edited

Possibly just a temporary issue with their clearnet domains. The site continues to function normally using their Tor .onion mirror (you would need to browse using Tor Browser).

Maybe it was the only metasearch engine on the web

That is incorrect.

Tor .onion mirror

What is a Tor .onion mirror? I haven't used Tor before

A website that can only be browsed within the Tor network, they all end in ".onion" instead of ".com" or whatever.

Is Torrentz2 down? I've been using their tor link (torrentzwealmisr.onion) but now I can't connect. Is this related to the TOR attack or are they actually dead? Thanks.
