What’s your favorite RAGBRAI t-shirt?
My top 4 are as follows:
#4 – “Get Your Own Damn Beer” from Hazel’s Bar
#3 – “I (Heart icon) Cumming”- Th original one they sold in Cumming, Iowa, but didn’t have a clue on the double meaning.
#2 – “Just cause I slept with you last night, doesn’t mean I’ll ride with you today”
#1 – RAGBRAI 18’s “RAGBRAI Inquirer” featuring head lines like “Elvis sighted”, “A cow saved my life”, and the “Amazing RAGBRAI Diet – lose 50 lbs in 1 week”

Big Bird, your #2 favorite shirt was worn by the ladies that made up Team Nooners…and is also one of my favorites. There’s another one that I don’t have because they sold out way too fast. It was “I Survived Soggy Monday.” Dang, I’d still like to get my hands on that one! Cheers. :-D
The first year Lance Armstrong was there they had a plain white tee shirt with the saying:

Gasgas, that is a great t-shirt and I wish I had one!! And 22 years old I might add…way to hang on to important stuff!
Knees, you have a great memory, “ladies of the Nooners” between you and Beebs I don’t know who is the best historian.
Some great t-shirts are designed in Fort Dodge real close to you Knees by Tour de Farms. Great barnyard themes.
RIDE RIGHT
My favorite RAGBRAI shirt is one I got on RAGBRAI from Mike Moran. Team Escape from New York. I met Mike in ’02 after he lost his brother in 911. They were both firefighters. The t-shirt is very dear to me and it has stains and holes in it but I can’t get rid of it.

Favorite T-shirt, 2010, on the waterlogged, Waterloo-Manchester, Friday. I got this one in Quasqueton, in the Budweiser garden of course!!!!

That is Kermit in my favorite RAGBRAI t-shirt. Sometimes when he wears my t-shirts they smell a little like bacon. I can’t account for that because he says he is a strict vegetarian.

Yep, ST, those shirts painted by the young lady from Dodge are quite original…no exact duplicates. Her designs are “air brushed” on the shirt. I see her out on her bike or at the mall every once in a while. Hope she gets back on RAG again this year. 8)
Thanks for posting the t-shirt gas gas. Turn it around and you’ll see the start town for RAGBRAI 18 was Sioux Center. Mine’s still in mint condition.
Mint condition that is if your mint has been lying on the floor board of your back seat. A little stained and alas one of those shirts that shrunk on the self.
Big Bird: As for your #2 choice, I can’t confirm who the group was, but there were two versions.
For The Gals: “Just because I rode with you today, doesn’t mean I wan’t to sleep with you tonight.
For the Guys: Just because I slept with you last night, doesn’t mean I want to ride with you today.
Knees, I’m not disputing your claim, just know what I saw on either 18 or 19. I’ll have to check my notes. Could be someone borrowed the idea from Team Nooners.

Amanda: Did you know the piper on Team Escape from New York? I always wanted to meet him, as I’m a piper too. Someone told me we lost him in 911 but I’ve not been able to confirm this. Anybody out there know?
