TV shows or movies are too dark
If a TV show or movie is too dark, or isn't bright enough to see, you might need to change the brightness or High Dynamic Range (HDR) settings on your device.
Mobile phone or tablet
To change the Netflix brightness on a phone or tablet:

Tap the screen while a TV show or movie is playing.

Slide the brightness indicator up or down to increase or decrease brightness.
You can also change the screen brightness by swiping down from the top of the screen and adjusting the brightness slider.
TV or streaming device
The steps to change the brightness or HDR settings are usually different for each brand and type of device.
