Excellent all the way around! Great food. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Great service.

This was our second visit to The Statler. This time before heading to Andrea Bocelli at Little Caesar’s Arena. The weather was fantastic. The patio was open and people were lively. The mater d’ welcomed us at our arrival and we were promptly seated. My husband loved the pate’ and the mussels. Service was very good- especially considering that our server appeared to have been triple sat and with a large table. It seems that could have been arranged better- but it was an opera night so perhaps unavoidable. We were perfectly pleased. Our only recommendation would be to consider a theater menu with small plates/tapas that is easy on the kitchen and convenient for theater guests. This provides an opportunity for guests to sample perhaps different menu options and allow the kitchen to expedite more efficiently. Again- we had no problem with food or service we were just thinking about it as we have seen many restaurants exercise that creativity. Consider pairing it with the event- Bocelli escargot with an Italian twist :)

Great burger, beer and the best fries I’ve ever had.

Checking in was fast and great courtesy. The place had an overall great vibe with the exception of 4 employees crowded at a table near our table that were BS there. Some were sitting in the booth and others were standing making the area more crowded for people who were working and giving off the vibe like people standing over you while you ate kind of thing. Our wait staff was kind and professional. A con to the place- 2 bathrooms and this place gets busy. Overall, food was delicious and i would go again for sure.
