      Critics Consensus

Even though Gibson is a good sport in his role, What Women Want is a rather conventional, fluffy comedy-romance that doesn't make good use of its premise.

Varun Comedy, Humorous, cliché & overall a good entertainer and one time watch! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Vishal C Enjoyed it, love the moral on viewing things from other people's perspectives and being mindful of others. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review Kaitlyn K I absolutely love this entire movie! My favourite part will forever be the montage of Alex (Ashley Johnson) trying on prom dresses to "What a Girl Wants" by Christina Aguilera. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/23 Full Review J C Right amount of comedy with a solid story line Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Sean S Mr. Gibson does his best to play a good "bad" guy it just falls short for the affect they were trying to achieve. Mrs. Hunt however does a great job of play a powerful woman looking for love. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/12/23 Full Review Inin I Honestly, the only thing I liked about this movie was the fizzy feeling you get from 2000s films. The first half was interesting and I was curious about the ending. The last half was lame and obvious. The characters were lovable but did they really need Elin? I just feel like she was set up afterwards to give Nick some kind of excuse to loose his ability. As an asian who knew nothing about Nancy Meyers except that she is famous, now I understand why she is famous. Her movies are easy to watch and follow but they don't last. If you want to just chill and turn on a movie while doing something else, this is a perfect movie for it. But it just isn't good enough to actually spend 2 solid hours. I have a perfect word for this movie, cheesy! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
