The vineyards support many community causes and host fundraisers for charities. The tasting room I great. - TheSaylors2004Claxton, GA196 contributionsWe were traveling through West Monroe, LA and knew the "Duck Dynasty" show was filmed there, so we stopped to see the old warehouse/museum. There was some merch (shirts, hats, etc) that you could purchase, as well as a self-guided tour. We enjoyed walking through the warehouse, listening to their humble beginnings to where they are now (mentally, physically, and spiritually). Prices range from wow! That’s a low price. To really? Were you high when you priced this? Some real bargains and some haggling, and lots of hey, I haven’t seen one of those since.....

Nice hiking area with the trails going around a small lake. Lots of evening hikers and I suspect a good birding area also in the right season. - Chrisinkingwood2Houston, TX5,698 contributionsOur dog goes on road trips with us and when we stayed nearby in Monroe I took her for a long walk in the park before we were ready to drive on for the day. The park has paved paths as well as dirt ones but they are maintained. There is a boat ramp as the park is along the river. There are restrooms and also a disc golf course for those who do that sport. - Gino329West Monroe, LA18 contributionsOne of the few places in town, that you can let you kids run wild and enjoy themselves. We've had a couple of birthday parties there for my daughter and both kids love going back.
