My experience at Webster Groves High School has been truly transformative. Being a student here has provided me with a wide range of opportunities for personal growth and educational development. The school offers a diverse curriculum that caters to students' interests and aspirations, allowing us to explore various subjects and discover our passions. The faculty at Webster Groves High School is exceptional, with teachers who are knowledgeable and dedicated to their students' success. They create a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping us navigate through complex concepts and challenging assignments. The teachers here are not only experts in their fields but also understand the importance of fostering critical thinking and independent learning skills. Overall, my time at Webster Groves High School has been an enriching and fulfilling experience, preparing me for my future endeavors and enabling me to create lasting memories.
Overall, I had a good experience at Webster Groves High School. I met many cool people and was taught many things. We have lots of good community and school spirit which leads to an overall fun experience. Like every school, there are a few things that need changing. Our football field is finally being redone and putting turf in, the facility was run down. Our school is kept clean and nice but some of our facilities are not state of the art. The school provides one ACT for every junior so that everyone has a chance at taking one. But while I was taking the test, the AC was broken on a hot day and the clock in my testing room was broken. I was a part of many activities, teams, and clubs, which made my experience better. I enjoyed DECA, the volleyball program, the lacrosse program, best buddies, student council, and more. In the end, the school does its best for the students here and I wouldn't have rather gone to any other high school.
Webster Groves High School has been an amazing experience. I love the teachers and the clubs that the school offers. To point out a few, Gifted English teachers encourage deep thinking and make the class enjoyable through fun activities and eye-opening discussions. I'd also like to thank the math and science teachers, who have helped me challenge myself in their respective subjects. School spirit is huge; it is amazing to see the community come together to support each other such as during the Adam Malette classic the other night (honoring the life of a WG alum). I have been a part of the track and cross-country teams that have added to my experience through bonds and friendships that will last a lifetime. If possible, I'd like to see a longer lunch as our current one is concise. I'd also encourage the district to look into more project-based learning and community service as I think this is vital to creating a well-rounded student and supplying students with heightened opportunities.
