Tony H After watching a similar gangster flick recently (Freight) which I found quite poor, I had my reservations about this one. However, it was actually okay and not too far-fetched. A decent set of actors whose faces will be familiar even if their names are not. I've seen a lot worse than this so it's 4 stars from me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Fallen S Below average gangster revenge movie. Acting was mediocre, special effects were pretty terrible. It passed the time, but thankfully it was only a short film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Joe C Sure, it's a simplistic revenge flick. The bad guys are nasty little punks with no redeeming qualities. But you can't help rooting for the old school geezers who get the job done with a good measure of charm, especially Ian Ogilvy, with whom I was not previously familiar. Must seek out his other projects, including the sequel. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/07/23 Full Review tom w I must admit, I really did not enjoy this movie all that much, but I did watch it to the end. The awful violence by the young gang of thugs reminded me of Clockwork Orange. Also of Putin's terrorist attack on Ukraine. The only effective response seems to be one of strength. We cannot kneel before thugs. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review trev e I enjoyed it, don't know why there were so many negative reviews. Bit of a tongue-in-cheek "old gangsters come back and clean up" movie. Worth a watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Charles B It is a dumb movie, but a fun dumb movie. Maybe because I am older myself, I like it when I see seniors kicking ass. "Tough Guys" with Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster also comes to mind. I do not know why the screenwriter decided that the main character should have OCD, because it doesn't affect the plot. The ending sets things up for further adventures of the anti-hero foursome and, apparently, a sequel was made 3 years later. The name of the star- Ian Ogilvy- sounded familiar to me... then I found it out that it was the same guy from 1968's "Witchfinder General" (a.k.a. "The Conqueror Worm"). I thought he was dead.
