To those who have read the preceding reviews and might hesitate before purchasing, let me reassure you that, at least as a download, the mastering problems in the earlier CD release (NOT from Rhino/Warner) have been fixed. The only quibble I have, and it's an extremely minor one, is that there is little or no dead air between tracks. If that's the only thing to complain about, we're doing ok.
The album itself is just as fabulous as I remember the LP being in 1976. Unfortunately, it was Dory's final release in a string of seven good-to-great albums. Now can we get a new remastering of the Carnegie Hall concert, Rhino/Warner?
