Does it work with USB drives?

It sure does! Just plug in your USB drive to the USB port, and the KODAK LUMA 150 will locate any viewable files, like photos or videos, for you to view.

Will it play all videos in 1080p?

That depends on your connection and the quality of the video. Native 1080p videos will play in full HD over a good connection (from your device to the video source, and your device to the projector), but 720p/lower-quality videos will not upscale.

Will it work with a tripod?

Yes, absolutely. The KODAK LUMA 150 features threading for a standard tripod mount on the bottom, so you can easily mount your projector for steady viewing.

What types of inputs are supported?

The KODAK LUMA 150 can play files from microSD cards, USB, or HDMI connection ports. Other video inputs (DVI, Display, etc.) will need an adapter (not included). Connect compatible devices wirelessly via Airplay or Miracast and mirror your screen.

    I injured my back at work and I had to do inversion therapy for an hour each day. Afterwards I got in our outside spa for an hour or so. After a few weeks of watching my tablet, I began looking at projectors. I settle on the Kodak and it is the best purchase I have made in a long time. The picture is bright and clear even if there are other lights on. The sound is good but I did add an external speaker to my set up because the spa is noisy. The projector is small and durable and only takes a minute to set up. Now, I want to stay in longer and the time flies. I project it on the hot tub cover and it looks great. See picture. Highly recommend.

    The Kodak Luma 150 is a portable projector that is able to connect to any device with an available HDMI. To use this with a mobile device you will need to use an adapter which I found is very easy to use. When first opening the package, you are greeted with a manual, a charging cable, a small HDMI cable, multiple outlet adapters for different regions of the world, and the projector. The projector has a battery life of about 1 hour and 30 minutes on a full charge. Using a wall outlet to charge I found that it takes about 1-2 hours to charge depending on how low it is. The battery life is a slight downside for the price as most movies are longer than it can hold a charge but can always be used while it is plugged in. The speakers were also quiet, however, there is the ability to connect to external speakers. To access the buttons, you tap the middle of the top of the projector which lights up the other options. The main menu makes it simple to navigate as it gives basic options for how to connect to any device. There is also a Bluetooth option which doesn’t work as well as the direct HDMI connection, but it is still an option. There is a scroll wheel on the side to adjust the clarity of the picture.

    Speakers could be louder.

    Battery life is only about 1 and ½ hours.

    I had bought this initially to use as a macaron/cookie projector and am still experimenting with this, but have also used this as a regular projector and it works quite well for this too. You can plug in a firestick and easily stream from there, or mirror your phone. The sound isn't bad either directly from the projector, but you can also plug it into an audio speaker. The focus feature/button sensitivity can be improved but works. Definitely can do a lot for a small unit!

    In short, this projector is a complete rip-off.

    Deze draadloze projector heb ik met korting gekocht omdat het een geretourneerd product betrof. Het zat iets rommelig in de verpakking maar hij doet het gelukkig wel. Wat mij tegenvalt is de beperkte resolutie (daar had ik beter op moeten letten), pixels zijn erg goed te onderscheiden dus niet voor scherpe details geschikt. Verder is ook het scherpstellen met het handmatige zoom moeilijk te doen, hij schiet spontaan weer in een wat onscherpe stand.
    Maar voor mijn gebruik, het projecteren van foto's op schildersdoek om de compositie grof over te schetsen, is de projector prima geschikt en dankzij het kleine formaat ook goed op te bergen.
    En bij dat gebruik zijn de grove pixels en het wat onscherpe beeld geen belemmering, maar voor het kijken van films zou ik toch een andere projector kiezen.
