Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, Starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate, recorded live at the Wyndham's Theater in London, of September 3rd, 2011, by Sonia Friedman Productions.
Xe was gifted this movie a few years ago, and xe wanted others to be able to experience the sheer joy of this performance, as xe cannot find it to purchase anywhere, and does not want it to be lost.
If you have only experienced Shakespeare in a stuffy, test-obsessed classroom, please do yourself a favor and watch this production, you cannot truely experience Shakespeare without seeing it performed as fluent, emotive speaking, and this turns the archaeic, confusing text in a classroom into a full comedy.
Especially if you are a fan of Doctor Who, you will recognize David Tennant and Catherine Tate from Season 4, as the iconic Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble. If you enjoyed their dynamic, you will cry tears of laughter watching them here.

My favourite version of this play so far
Tate and Tennant have electric chemistry, as always. I am not generally a Shakespeare fan, but this version was enjoyable, and Tate and Tennant brought it to life. Thank you so much for posting.
If there is any way to post subtitles, I would be very, very grateful. 4 stars for lack of subs, will update to 5 if the video is updated with subs. Thank you
