Never ever ever take a music program out of a school. This is awesome!
I couldn't agree more!
School I went to cut everything but home ec, wood shop, and engineering drawing. That was it. It sucked.
100%
Culture, history, and art are hugely important for raising kids into well-rounded adults. Math and science will always be important, but life wouldn't be as beautiful without your favorite song or your favorite shot in your favorite movie.
Also those kids are probably gonna gonna be reflecting on this time one day as "one of the best parts of my life."
Mr Schmeibly 100% agrees! 🤘
Fuckin A. I can't believe it. I was legit blown away.
I did have music, but it definitely was not as awesome as this. It kinda sucked actually.
would be cool to see Ozzy's reaction to this 👍
edit and thanks to Reddit here's the link to Ozzy's reaction
clicky here
Sharon... SHARON... SHAAAAARON!
COME! COME SEE WHAT THE CHILDREN ARE DOING!
THEY'RE PLAYING MY SONG!
ON THE XYLOPHONE SHARON! THE F******* XYLOPHONE!
Omg, this made me laugh so much I cried
Read this in his voice and tone lmao
I literally just hit my bong and then read this comment.
Currently laughing with tears on my couch. 😂🤣
She'd sue the school for copyright infringement
No doubt, made his day.
I saw on an episode Ozzy and Jack's world detour, Jack, Ozzy and Kelly saw kids perform this. Kelly cried. Ozzy really enjoyed it!
need to find that clip
It's on youtube. I'd link if I knew how. https://youtu.be/L3oAU-LBO40?si=0Sk9fytle1itkl13
I'm sure Ozzy himself would be proud.
Ok that was unnecessarily wholesome. The way Ozzy was almost Giddy to sign that drum head. Just cool to see people care enough to make someone else happy.
I thought ozzy was gonna die 20 years ago.
Ozzy isn’t sure if he died 20 years ago. People keep replying to his words so he’s just going with it as of now.
Some people eat bats and live forever, some start the end of the world. It’s a mystery.
Why did that make me cry?

gotta love Reddit 👍
thanks I think this will be the best thing I've watched this week from Reddit
Ozzy is wholesome as fuck
I woulda lost it if he started singing the song. But the kids stole the show anyways
Omg I have full body goosebumps. That was too cool.
Thank you soooooo much! I'm not 😢 you're crying!
Ty, that was awesome
This is what made me fall in love with music as a kid. Being a small part of something to make the whole thing sound so cool and amazing.
I would practice my part and think of how boring it is and then I would practice with the whole class and next thing I knew, I would be the backbone of the piece or the missing note to give it just that right sound. As a whole, ensemble music is absolutely fantastic when you take part in it. You feel greater as a whole. Man, I miss that feeling.
It makes me emotional seeing this. They look so happy and involved. So much fun.
I wish we properly funded all schools in the United States. Every child should have this.
You are absolutely right! I find my outlet in my church choir now, which is something I could never have imagined myself doing. Making beautiful music with others is a magical feeling.
Oh it’s incredible, isn’t it? I played violin for 9 years in school and hearing the swell of the full orchestra never failed to cover me with goose bumps. The fact that I had a part to play in it was just gravy.
You just summed up my own thoughts far better than I have ever managed to
This is the best thing on the internet holy crap. Shout out their music teacher.
Literally tempted to make this my ringtone 🤣
Same lol.
I think it was Ned Schneebly
Crazy Train on xylophone gives off intense Halloween theme vibes and I’m here for it!
I heard it, too!
I love how after the intro it sounds like a relaxing island getaway lol. To quote M. Night “What a twist”.
All this needed were a few kids playing a recorder in the background
Red headed girl in the pink sweatshirt was deep into it.
Badass!
That's fantastic! It's impressive to see young talents mastering such a classic tune in such a unique and creative way.
Rock on, Kiddos!
don't forget the MVP bassist (Bassists are always the MVP [I might be biased])
Thank you, this did indeed make me smile. :)
Oh my god. The second they really got started, it brought me so much joy that I laughed. Seeing kids learning and showing off epic skills is my reason for existence
They won the internet today!!
Superb stuff. Special shout-out to all the soloists at the end who nailed some really tricky stuff like it was nothing.
Loved how they handed the solos off from one to the other wirh no missed beats.
Fact. It takes this many people to do what Randy Roads did by himself. 😋
For a certain point I was sure they won't cover Randy's solo, but they nailed it :D They released the beast :D
😂 Mad respect. I can barely make it thought this song on RockBand.
Those kids are amazing! They absolutely nailed the performance. I can't stop smiling!
Ho.Ly. CATS, that was some freakin awesome rock artistry! My hat's off to each of those young musicians and their teacher.
And a room full of new metalheads is born.
Awesome, love classic rock and metal done different (rock opera, Metallica with the SF Symphony etc)
The REAL School of Rock! 🤘
The solos get me so pumpedddd
Vibraslap ftw! Ayayay!!!
This is fucking awesome! …my grade school only had wooden blocks with sandpaper on them and recorders
I still get out my recorder. When I’m drunk. My jams are amazing. 🤣
Schools need bigger budgets for stuff like this.
Geez who donated $100k to an elementary music program?? Those things are not cheap
Money well spent!
They probably did a shit ton of fund raising.
Fun fact: the metal instruments up front are actually vibraphones! It also seems like most of the kids in the back are playing on marimbas. There’s lots of different mallet instruments and identifying them depends on the material the keys are made out of as well as some other factors like size.
Yep, vibe vet here.
That's absolutely adorable! Those kids totally rocked Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" 🎸🤘. It's so heartwarming to see young talent thriving and having fun. This made me smile 😊
Awesome!!!!!!
Brilliant!
AND FUCKING CRUSHED IT!
Can we take a second to appreciate the kid on the bass and how he already looks like a rock star?
He doesn't need us. All the girls love the bass player.
Impressive!
That was fantastic!
Fair play that was impressive 👏
I wish music class was this cool when I was a kid!
Who else tried to sing it?
That was FANTASTIC!!! JUST AWESOME!!
Now do The Wizard
Lucky kids. When I was young we had to play “Id do it for you” by Bryan Adams
Loved this! Little soloists rocked out!!
Halloween but in a parallel reality where Ozzy made the soundtrack.
Greatest thing I've seen on Reddit in a while - well done!
Badass!!
Wow! That’s awesome!!! How old?? I’m not crying. You are 😂the confidence it gives kids is so beautiful
they made crazy train sound like tubular bells and it's rockin!
Ozzy would be very whatever about it.
Actually brought me to tears a bit ❤️ those kids are having SO much fun performing an iconic song. I hope many of them stay in music!
Edit: omg they threw Randy's solo around!!! How cool!!
This is how you get kids to love music! Kudos to the teacher. This looks like a fun class.
Amazing!
Does not quite have the same vibe as Ozzy but a hell of a good time
