Ruby Dean Hill

Ruby Dean Hill (Woolfolk), “Deanie”, age 76, passed away August 23, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born November 1, 1944 in Mexico, Missouri to Walter Dean Woolfolk and Ruby Lee Isgrig, the oldest of four children. The family moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1960 where Deanie attended Tempe High and where she also met her husband of 56 years. Deanie loved crocheting, traveling, and spending time with her family. She volunteered at the Desert West Park Community Center where she headed a crochet group making charitable items for the Veterans’ Administration. Deanie retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, based in Sun City, Arizona. Deanie will be remembered for her girlish giggle, her kind heart and sweet smile. All friends were welcome in her home where she instantly made you feel like family. Deanie is survived by her beloved husband, David Hill; daughter Michelle Hill; son Scott Hill and his wife, Carrie; son Daniel Hill and his wife, Stefanie; brother Darryl Woolfolk; and grandsons, Daniel Hill, Jr., Steven Hill, and Seth Paul Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby Woolfolk; sister Donna Tafoya (Woolfolk); and brother Walt “Bub” Woolfolk. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
