We come here to conduct some business, took the subway from Brooklyn. It was not very busy on a Monday morning. Things have changed with Covid and many people working from home. And some of the buildings have been transformed to apartments. So the seat of finance is in transition.

Walked to Wall Street and the Financial District whilst visiting the 9/11 Memorial. Subway station also nearby. The Stock Exchange is a very impressive building and the bull and the girl statue is also worth a photo opportunity. We went in peak Summer so was very busy with tourists but that can be expected. A lot of interesting architecture and sculptures around the area and definitely worth having a walk round and exploring if in that part of the city.

Wall Street is the financial area of New York City. It is served by the subway and buses are also to be found. You can reach the area from the Brooklyn Bridge as well. To really take in the area you are probably better setting out on foot. There is some really good architecture to admire including the New York Stock Exchange. There are also some interesting sculptures to hunt down including the bull which was a big photo opportunity when I visited in October 2023. There were loads of people queuing up to get their pic with the beast. The area has a variety of ancient and modern buildings to look at and you will probably find something you like as you stroll around.

Wall Street represents the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. It is here that you will find the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall and a couple much photographed statues including Fearless Girl and Charging Bull. It all makes for some good photos if visiting Lower Manhattan and isn't too far from more interesting experiences including the 9/11 Memorial, One World Trade Center, Battery Park with boat tours to the Statue of Liberty, and the Staten Island Ferry.
