Product Description

This is a terrific "caper" movie!
I loved the story, and the acting is great!
It is a movie full of multi-dimensional characters, which makes it much more interesting!

There are some strange minor lapses in the editing that make it a bit hard to follow sometimes/things aren't always logical.
But after watching it again, it was easy to fill in the missing parts.
I can't recommend this movie enough!

And I forgot to say that it is absolutely worth buying, and that the soundtrack is great, and that I wish that I could buy it!

It has some violence, but its not overly violent, because it actually tells a good story. If anyone knows a source for all his movies that can be viewed in N.A. I would be very interested.

Okay, I fully admit that I bought this for Diego Luna. My copy came with an English language track. I don't know why they didn't have Diego do his own English for that. The guy they picked had me in hysterics less than a minute in, and not in a good way. It opens with the guy exclaiming "FOOD MARKET!" and then ominously intoning, "Mexico Cityyyyy." I had to switch to the Spanish track after less than five minutes because I was laughing too hard to pay attention to the plot, even though I don't speak Spanish. So don't bother with that track.

As for the movie itself, I liked it for the most part, but it had some story elements that I thought were incredibly dumb. The ending is incredibly unsatisfactory. Several of the characters die for absolutely no reason. They have money, lots of money, and yet they decide to just die instead of going to the hospital. That pissed me off.

Der "deutsche" Titel "Las Bandidas" ist zwar etwas reißerisch gewählt, passt aber sogar etwas besser als der span. Original-Titel "Solo quiero caminar". Übersetzt soviel wie "Ich möchte nur gehen". Es geht um ein kriminelles Damenquartett, die sich als weibliche Tresorknackerbande durch das Leben bringen wollen und sich am Ende auch teilweise um dieses Leben bringen. Überlagert wird das ganze durch eine Art Liebesgeschichte zwischen einer der Frauen mit einem melancholischen Killer der gegnerischen Gangsterpartei.

Regisseur Augustin Diaz Yanes hat hier sein eigenes Drehbuch verfilmt. In diesem Fall war dies wohl ein Fehler, denn er achtet aus meiner Sicht nicht genug darauf, die Zuschauer zu unterhalten. Er versäumt es Spannung zu erzeugen, weil er den Zuschauer zulange über viele Dinge im unklaren lässt. So hat man tatsächlich Mühe, der Handlung richtig zu folgen. Dass bei den Beutezügen der Damen nicht alles Reibungslos klappt, ist sicher realistisch, doch ärgert man sich auch über das teilweise unglaubwürdige stupide Verhalten auf beiden seiten. Eine der Diebinnen ist auch so eine Art Superfrau, was handwerkliches Können und sportliche Geschicklichkeit angeht. Wo hat Sie all diese Dinge gelernt?

Die Schauspieler sind im Prinzip gut und retten dann das ganze doch irgendwie. Routiniert umgesetzt, ohne wirkliche visuelle oder die Handlung betreffende Höhepunkte. Bild und Ton der Blu-ray sin in Ordnung
