I really like the stadium, it's perhaps not the most 'soulful' compared to some more but it has everything you may need without any unnecessary thrills and definitely felt like it had something of a personality. I must admit as a fan of a second division English club I found some of the reviews calling the stadium 'cozy' or similar to be fairly amusing but I suppose in comparison with some of the larger stadia of Europe it can certainly be considered so.
For a design completed in 2009 I think the fact it has poles to hold up the roof perhaps a little disappointing - there are older stadia with cantilever rooves - but this is relatively minor, just make sure if its an issue that your seat is not a restricted view seat.
The atmosphere is good, staff helpful both with my woeful attempts at German (I'm sorry, I favoured romance languages both in and after school!) and more generally. Security at the gates was really no different to any other first division games in major European leagues (though I found it to be quicker/more efficient than some grounds I've been to) but if that's not something you're used to just be aware it takes a little time and there are certain restricted items, don't be bringing your rucksack with you.
The food/beer prices seem, as an English football fan, very reasonable/bordering on cheap (for football) and the ability to take a "pint" to your seat remains a novelty even after the first few games of being allowed to do so. As others have said you load up a card to use in the bars/food outlets rather than using either cash or card at them. Its a touch irritating as something that I'm not used to but only really takes a few minutes to sort out and I can 100% understand the motive behind it. The fact you can give the card back and get the full balance + the actual price/deposit for the card is nice as sometimes with this system at other places you find that either you cannot get back the balance or the cost of the card or both. The general stadium facilities were fine, bit of a queue at half time for the toilets but again thats fairly standard, I do think there could have been more toilets when you consider other grounds with similar capacities of a similar age but overall it wasn't so bad and much better than you can get at some places.
The public transport to get there is very easy, possibly a little crowded but no more so than trying to take a tram to any other football game anywhere else. The fact the cost of the tram is essentially covered by the match ticket is really nice as well and makes the whole process much smoother. The stadium's tram stop is a short walk from the actual stadium itself (we certainly didn't find it to be far at all, in fact I thought it was very close relative to what I'm used to). We did begin walking to the ground from the city as we had plenty of time to kill but got bored about halfway. It's technically possible and would take about an hour but not necessary and not really recommended, unless you also have time to kill beforehand!

Visiting WWK Arena was an amazing experience (and not only because Augsburg defeated Bayern Munich). Traveling across Germany this past September, seeing a Bundesliga match was on our must-do list. We were fortunate to get tickets and it was a full house as we settled into our seats on the corner near the Augsburg fan section.
Despite a light rain to before the match, we were comfortable because the phenomenal arena design kept the vast majority of seats under cover. The rain ended as the match started and the non-stop action from players and fans began. It was intense; it was electrifying; and it was contagious. We were thoroughly amazed by the passion of the fan bases of each team. Seated directly next to the Augsburg fan section we quickly became part of the chanting, banner waving, and cheering.
With our support, Augsburg (decidedly the underdog in this match)

Parksituation ist eine Unverschämtheit. 1h im Stau, dann heißt es: Parkplatz voll. Planlose Mitarbeiter.

Was in Munich for the weekend. So we decided Ausburg vs Dortmund. Final score 3-5 and Haaland scored a debut hat trick.
The stadium itself was great and transport was simple to use.

This was our first-ever Bundeliga match, and we were really excited to take in the experience. We arrived by special game-only tram, which leaves you about a 10-15 minute walk from the stadium itself; when you get off, just follow the crowds. Upon arrival, we entered into the stadium via our designated gate (we used a printout of our ticket on US-style 8.5x11 paper). Before the game, we picked some items from the team store, and although it was crowded, it was also large enough to keep things moving without any real delay.
Our seats for the game were comfortable to sit in, and the sightlines were surprisingly good - we didn't really have any part of the field cut off from our view. It was an added-advantage that the home team won the game, adding to the fun experience.
While it didn't bother us too much, smoking is generally permitting in the stadium, both in the concourse but also the seating area. Also, due to the system the stadium uses to handle concession, you would need to acquire a special pre-paid debit card to pay for purchase of snacks and food. That was sufficient to deter us from getting a snack and drink during the game.
There were no issues getting back to the center of Augsburg after the match. While there are crowds for the trams, they have them lined up and depart often.

Pænt stadion og en god kamp med mange mål - desværre var det koldt, så til sidst ventede jeg bare på at komme hjem i varmen.

We had a great time watching Augsburg FC play! Great stadium with wonderful food and reasonably priced beer. To make purchases, you put money on a card and it makes paying at all the food and drink vendors very easy!

Für FCA-Fans ein Muß - für Touristen ein Fußballstadion, das hauptsächlich durch die Außenverkleidung und die Beleuchtung wirkt.

Will there be enough parking space near the arena? If taking tram from rail station, will there be parking space near the station? In addition, is backpack allowed to take into? Thanks.

I'm trying to get tickets to a match on the clubs website, but it wants to send them to my address in the United States when going through the check out process, there is a tab that says to print the tickets at home, but it looks like I have to order them first. I don't want to pay for tickets that are going to be sent to the USA if I need them in Germany. Help!

Can anyone tell me what the best way of purchasing tickets for an FC Augsburg match would be? Ideally do not want to purchase of viagogo.
Can I buy tickets on the day from the ticket office? I understand that touts also sell tickets in Germany. How much do these usually sell for and where are the tickets placed in the stadium usually?
Any help would be appreciated

There are ticket offices next to the stadium. They are little white "boxes" next to the parking lot. They open about 2 1/2 hours before each game, but ticket availability depends on which game you would like to watch. If it's a match against FC Bayern München for example, you won't be able to get tickets on the day of the match.
There is a hotline for tickets, a online shop (don't know if they have it in English though) and different locations throughout Augsburg where you can pick up tickets.
There is further information on the website (English and German) of the FCA on how to purchase tickets.
