Growing up watching wrestling with my dad, Trish and Lita were always a couple of my favorite female wrestlers. I was fortunate enough to see Trish Stratus vs Victoria, vs Jazz at Wrestlemania at safeco feild when I was in the 6th grade and it was amazing! And to be able to watch that match was pretty cool. This whole dvd is a bundle of so much nostalgia for me watching wrestling with my family growing up.

Nothing like watching these 2 in their prime. They always brought it. Disc 1 focuses on Trish Stratus's rise to the top and beefing with Lita along the way while disc 2 is all about Lita's rise beefing with trish along the way. Reliving the matches and rivalry is a must have for any hardcore fan.

Buen par de discos con la historia de esta dos luchadoras, que lograron abrir camino en la WWE para una division femenina decente.
Es notable como al principio eran usadas como acompañantes, pero al final consiguen algunos feudos y buenas luchas.

This two disc DVD covers the careers of Trish Stratus and Lita. It mainly focuses on their time as rivals and friends but it covers other parts of their careers too. It's a match compilation with one disc dedicated to Lita and the other to Trish. There are several interview segments that separate the matches on each disc too, they go into a lot of detail about their careers which was appreciated.

Albert vs. Crash - Trish Stratus' disc starts off with this match where Stratus was working as a manager for Albert. The match itself was fairly short and not that exciting when it came to the action in the ring. Stratus played a very small role in the match but it showcased her manager role well enough. I'm glad this was short as she wasn't featured much but it worked as a quick introduction to Stratus.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita - This was from a 2000 episode of RAW. It was a Bra and Panties match for thw WWE Women's Championship. That feels like a strange match to include considering the positive image WWE try to put out these days. There is a pre-match segment with Mick Foley where he at least puts across how Lita's a serious competitor so her willingness to be in this match was surprising. That at least tried to limit the damage this match would do. The match itself was probably the best it could have been with this match type. They at least got some wrestling in too and you could feel that they hated each other. I can't say that it was a good match but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. They showed promise of what they could do in a proper match.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita vs. Ivory vs. Molly Holly vs. Jaqueline vs. Jazz - From Survivor Series 2001, this was a Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE Women's Championship which was vacant. It was the style of the match with two women fighting and the other four tagging in and out. It was a pretty good match. It didn't last for that long but all the action was entertaining while it lasted. Lita was the stand-out here but everyone worked hard to try and make women's wrestling mean something. It had a good, decisive finish and was an enjoyable match overall.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita vs. Jazz - This was from Wrestlemania X8 and was a Triple Threat for the WWE Women's Championship, which Jazz was holding. It was another good match. The action was constantly entertaining and, while it wasn't a long match or anything, they got more time than I expected. It had some good near-falls and a strong, decisive finish. There's nothing special about the action but it was still an enjoyable match.

Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly - From Unforgiven 2002 this was for the WWE Women's Championship. It was a good back and forth match. The in-ring action was constantly entertaining and they wrestled with a fast pace. As far as in-ring action goes this is the best Trish has looked so far on the DVD. It's clear she was working very hard to get better since the start of this DVD. There were some good reversals and near-falls and they had a good, clean finish.

Trish Stratus vs. Victoria vs. Jazz - This Triple Threat match for the WWE Women's Championship was from Wrestlemania XIX. This was another enjoyable match. Jazz controlled most of the action while Trish felt like an underdog against her bigger, stronger opponents. She still got in her fair share of offence though. There were some good near-falls along the way and a good clean finish. It was just about better than the three-way the previous year.

Chris Jericho vs. Christian and Trish Stratus - This is a handicap match that's taking place because Trish turned on Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania. It was a very good match. They mainly kept it down to Christian and Jericho, with Trish getting involved when she could to give Christian the advantage or to take advantage of a downed Jericho. It was a really good back and forth match that I didn't think would live up to their Wrestlemania singles match but it did. Much better than expected.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita - This WWE Women's Championship match was from New Year's Revolution. This was a disappointingly short match unfortunately. The match was going well until Lita hit a Lou Thesz press to the outside and badly hurt her knee. Trish was able to take control of the match from there and unfortunately due to the injury the match was cut pretty short. These two are capable of very good matches but they got unlucky here.

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James - This was the Women's Championship match from Wrestlemania 22 and Trish was the champion. It was a really good back and forth match with good psychology; Trish missed a kick early on and connected with the ringpost instead which allowed Mickie to take control back whenever Trish got the upper hand by taking advantage of the now damaged leg. They showed a lot of their character work in the match without taking away from the in ring action. There were some good near-falls, memorable moments and a strong decisive finish. At the time this was by far the best female Wrestlemania match of all time and would stay that way for the next ten years.

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James - This rematch was from Monday Night RAW. It was shortly before Trish's retirement match. The action here was all good but unfortunately it was a bit short. It was entertaining while it lasted but after their Wrestlemania match we know what they can do with more time so that made this one a bit disappointing. It was still good while it lasted though with a strong, clean finish.

Lita vs. Trish Stratus - This was from Unforgiven and was a WWE Women's Championship Match. It was also Trish's last match for five years and her very last as a full time roster member. It was a good, competitive match. They clearly knew each other very well which showed in the action, they had some good counters for each other's signature moves. There were some good near falls as the match went on and a good, clean finish. At this time only Mickie James vs. Trish from Wrestlemania was better than it when it comes to women's matches on pay-per-view. It's been surpassed many times now but it still holds up as a good, entertaining match.

Trish Stratus, Lita, Bayley, Sasha Banks and Natalya vs. Alicia Fox, Mickie James and The Riott Squad - Before this match we get Trish Stratus' full Hall of Fame ceremony. I'm not as interested in these speeches as I am in matches but I can understand it's inclusion. This next match, from RAW is a pretty good ten women tag team match. It wasn't anything too memorable other than seeing Trish and Lita back in action on RAW. The action was all good though, they had a decent amount of time to work with and it had a strong and entertaining finish. It was a fun, enjoyable match.

Essa Rios vs. Gillberg - Just like on Trish's disc we start off Lita's with her debut as a manager. The match was for the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship. Lita's interview before the match is a bit disappointing. Trish started off with a rundown of how she got into wrestling and her time before WWE whereas Lita just went right into talking about her debut and style. It made Lita's less interesting to listen to. Anyway the match itself was very quick. Lita had no involvement in the match itself but made a bit of an impact immediately after. It was a better debut that Trish's was.

The Hardy Boyz and Lita vs. Trish Stratus, Test and Albert - This Six-Person Mixed Tag Team match came from Fully Loaded 2000. This was a really good match. It had a fast pace throughout, especially when the Hardys were in control. The action was really good with The Hardys using their more exciting offence and Test and Albert using their power to try and slow the Hardys down. There were loads of reversals and some good near-falls as the match went on. The women's involvement was pretty minimal for the most part up until the final few minutes. They were a good few minutes though so it's inclusion on this DVD still worked. I was kind of expecting a bit of a throw-away match from this but it ended up being a lot more exciting than that and it lasted for a good amount of time. It was a great match with a strong and decisive finish.

Lita and The Rock vs. Trish Stratus and Triple H - From a 2000 episode of RAW. This was a very good match with a fast pace and exciting action. It wasn't like the modern mixed tag matches where the men and women can't touch which made it a more exciting match. It had a decent amount of time for a TV match in the attitude era and it had a good, decisive finish. Lita was involved in a lot more of the action than she was in the previous match and the match was almost as entertaining. Another strong inclusion.

Lita vs. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley - This was another RAW match, this time for the WWE Women's Championship. The Rock was the special guest referee here to counter Triple H and Kurt Angle who were on the outside for Stephanie. It was an entertaining match. Stephanie wasn't too good here but there was loads going on around the ring featuring Angle, Triple H and the Hardy Boyz along with Rock getting physically involved in the action. This all added to the chaos and made it into a very enjoyable and exciting match despite Stephanie's limitations.

Lita and Trish Stratus vs. Gail Kim and Molly Holly - This Tag Team match came from the 2003 Unforgiven event. Lita was returning from a neck injury that cost her a year of her career. It was a pretty good tag team match. The action was good, with Kim and Holly working over Stratus for the majority of the match while the audience waits for Lita to get tagged in. It had a clean and decisive finish and all the action was entertaining. It was an enjoyable, competitive tag team match.

Lita vs. Victoria - This was a Steel Cage match. It was a match that was both good and disappointing at the same time. The action was all good and it was a very entertaining, back and forth match. I got the impression they were being made to hold back a little bit on what they could do though so while it was a very enjoyable match it had potential to be even better. It was followed by Kane and Lita's wedding ceremony from RAW, it was alright but I don't quite understand it's inclusion.

Lita vs. Trish Stratus - This is possibly their most famous match together. It's was the main event of RAW and was for the WWE Women's Championship. It was a very entertaining match. Unfortunately the most memorable moment in the match was Lita botching a suicide dive and almost breaking her neck again. She somehow managed to carry on after that moment though and they went on to have a very enjoyable, competitive match. The action was intense as you could feel the hatred these two had for each other. Trish worked on the neck of Lita whenever possible, taking advantage of Lita's earlier mistake. There were some convincing near-falls and a satisfying finish. It's a match that's been released on a lot of DVDs but historically it makes sense and it belongs on this DVD so I can't complain.

Lita vs. Mickie James - This RAW match, from two years later, was for the WWE Women's Championship. It's the first match on the disc where Lita isn't a fan favourite. It's a good back and forth match. Lita controls the majority of the action but James had some good reversals to stay in the action. Edge was on the outside, in Lita's corner, and he got involved in the match but not enough to ruin the action. It had a good finish and was an overall enjoyable match.

Lita vs. Mickie James - From Cyber Sunday, this was a Lumberjack match for the vacant WWE Women's Championship. That was the stipulation the fans chose but unfortunately lumberjacks rarely add anything to a match and tend to just get in the way. That was the case here as they add nothing to the action. The action between Mickie and Lita was good though, similar to their RAW match. There were some good near-falls and a strong, decisive finish. It's the last match on the DVD with Lita as a full time roster member.

Lita vs. Heath Slater - This was from six years later and was part of a series where Slater would be squashed by various legends in the build to RAW 1000. This was from RAW 1000 and was the final match, with Lita coming out as his surprise opponent. She was joined by the APA along with all the legends that had previously beat Slater. It wasn't really much of a match but it was a fun segment.

Trish Stratus and Lita vs. Alicia Fox and Mickie James - Before this match from WWE's first ever all Women's pay-per view, Evolution, we see Lita's Hall of Fame induction and Lita introducing the new Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 32. The Hall of Fame was good but not really my thing, the announcement was a great moment as it got rid of the awful 'Divas' Championship so I'm happy for it's inclusion. Alexa Bliss was meant to part of this match but was unfortunately replaced due to injury by Alicia. It was a good match to kick off the show with. It was an enjoyable back and forth match with decent action and a clean and satisfying finish. Trish and Lita got to hit all their signature stuff to please the crowd and everyone worked hard. It wasn't anything ground breaking in the ring but it was entertaining and good to see Lita and Trish back in action. It would have been a better match with Alexa able to compete but it was a good start to the show and the perfect way to end this DVD.

Overall this was a very enjoyable DVD. It felt a bit random as a concept but it delivered a really entertaining few hours. I would have preferred a few more matches instead of the Hall of Fame inductions and Lita's wedding but overall they did a good job with this DVD. There were plenty of entertaining matches included and it summed up both women's careers well. A few matches were disappointing but that's usually because they're short so there's nothing really bad here. Just matches that could have done with more time.Overall an easy recommendation.
