W.H. Adamson High School Reviews
Rating 3.76 out of 5 249 reviews
High School made me grow up quickly and taught me many things. There were strict rules and high expectations of us. Nevertheless, the teachers in my school were very unhinged and realistic, most of the students felt trust with most of the teacher there. They would play with us, give us free days, and spoke our slang. Given the welcoming circumstances, we felt safe knowing the teachers cared about us. Joining clubs like the marching band and theater helped me gain confidence and restored the fun in me. I became the leaders of both organizations and I'm so glad I did. However, this success did not only come to me out of luck, I was a victim of bullying from both places, however, I became a bigger person and lead by example eventually leading me to the successful spots I am now. High School formed into a confident and mature person, I am not afraid to talk to people without being scared of judgement anymore. Overall, High School was the biggest lesson I had, and I enjoyed it to the max.
One of the key benefits of the P-TECH program at W.H. Adamson High School is its focus on preparing students for high-demand careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). By partnering with local industries and colleges, P-TECH provides students with real-world experiences, mentorship opportunities, and a seamless pathway to higher education and the workforce.
My experience at W.H. Adamson has been the best I could've imagined high school being, I have been enrolled in the P-Tech program since my freshmen year. It has been an amazing experience being able to get ahead in my education and having these connections that have helped me and made my process easy.
