Bollywood actress Neha Sharma was spotted in a polling booth in Bhagalpur to cast her vote. The actress, who is the daughter of political leader Ajeet Sharma, was seen at the booth with her parents. In a video shared by ANI, the trio showed off their inked finger to the cameras. She also spoke with the media and asked fans to step out and vote. The actress was surrounded by police officers.
“This is a very important day…I request people that this is a very important right that we have. As an aware citizen, step out and vote because your vote is precious…” she said, speaking with ANI. She also took to her Instagram account and shared a video with a similar message.
“It is both our right and duty to vote as an conscious citizen. Today I have confirmed my participation in the great festival of democracy by voting. I appeal to the people of Bhagalpur and the people of the country wherever voting is happening, everyone must vote,” she captioned the video. Watch it below:

Neha’s father Ajeet Sharma is contesting for elections this year. It is reported that Ajit is a Lok Sabha election candidate from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Neha participated in a Lok Sabha election road show in Bihar earlier this week to show her support and urge fans to vote. In a video she shared on Instagram, Neha was seen travelling through different districts of Bihar. These include Bhagalpur, Banka, Kishanganj, Katihar and Purnia. The actress was seen wearing a traditional salwar kameez and urging the public to vote. She was welcomed by a massive crowd in Pirpainti and Kahalgaon.
Neha shared glimpses of the road show on her social media account and wrote, “They say when someone gives you a place in their heart , you live there forever .My heart is full from all the love and support you have given me.Thank you for the warm welcome Pirpainti and kahalgaon.Aapka pyar sar ankhon par.#Eternally grateful ❤️”.
