Orchids insectivorous plant wow! All varieties cacti n succulents, sacred groves, ornamental, aquatic. Tropical forest simulation, Jurassic park plants. Toy train ride is slow of course and has a good view toward the end. AC in coaches don't work but the mountain breeze was decent. Train starts only after there are about 30-40 passengers.
11am there wasn't much line, which helped with the Ropeway. That trip lasts 3 mins, not much of a ropeway experience, but fastest way to go up. This beach is prone to accidents if we are unaware of tides. Depth also varies. It t was properly maintained. Lights on the tree and seating arragements, cool wind and peaceful environment give natural feelingand attracting many tourists. Saw leopard, Bengal tiger, lion etc. But overall impression was that the zoo could do better on upkeep, place has a run down feel about it. Ticketing counter is a nightmare, wonder what it will take for the tickets to be made available online! We took a battery operated car which has 30 min waiting for a 1 hour journey. Worthwhile as the park is huge and with small kids it’s difficult to walk.
