Tips & Getting Started
Anyone have any good advice? Ive been a bit of a serial restarter and am a bit lost. I seemed to have a decent start by:

1) immediatly redirect all convoys to go up over ireland into a port in northeast england to avoid the german fleets

2) spam airfields, and load them with hurricanes. Then send them after any submarines spotted and auto resolve the battle, they always win (can take several squadrans to do so)

3) combine and send all starter fleets to patrol the west and south of Ireland to try and limit the german fleets from decimating the convoys

4) spam submarines, subs are op for ambushing and taking out fleets. Usually try and hit and run in the battles. Can easily destroy battleships and the heavy crusiers in a fleet, then flee

5) max out building slots in the cities, and get power plant and airfield 2 reasearched asap


Im sure im doing this all wrong but man this seems like a tough game, even to just feel like your getting somewhere in the first 10-20 days. Hopefully you guys can share some tips!

well one way i tried is i ignored the southern part. i build nothing there just the top part as the planes cant reach you there (yet?) that gives me time to build lab/factory/farm/shipyard lvl 3"s there.... Then i started by adding lvl 3 airfield/radar on the middle ish part of the map.

I just kept a fleet with BB CA CC CC and about 4 destroyers in the lower left corner of UK on patrol. Other then that i add corvette's to the convoys to protect them from subs.

Also make sure convoys dock on the east side of UK (some will go all around UK if you dont watch out).

I also made like 4 labs cause i want to get that research going, just 1 intelligence where i put most focus on counter intel and intel , dont use sabotage that much

Also i use subs in the english channel

Nice, ill have to try this next time. Using my posted steps, and if the summary tab is accurate, ive destoryed all their surface vessles and most but 2-4 subs. They dive bombed the crap outta my main surface fleet so kind of gimped there. Have gotten the south covered with radar, AA, and aifields now and my convoys havent been attacked in 2 weeks. Have subs patrolling the channel and my shipping lanes. Feel like im gaining ground but supplies/food are still in shorty supply. Slowly upgrading all industry. Having a blast. Subs are op!
