Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I briefly popped into the centre whilst in Belfast after a tip off from the big red bus tours. Even though the weather wasn't great it provided excellent views of the city! And is free of charge, so would highly recommend.
Shops look to be nice ones too.

The Victoria Centre has a street feel to it and many excellent stores including the only Apple Store in Ireland. The viewing platform on the top level has amazing views out over the city and it’s a free attraction.

Intended to do Xmas shopping, but there was a stage set up with 'artists' performing (only a mother could've loved the 'singing'. This plus the music being played by the centre made for a cacophony of noise. It was so bad that we left without making any purchases. Won't be back again.

Enjoyed visit to Victoria Square, wander around shops, grab a coffee & see Belfast from the rooftop domed viewpoint, great views of the City & it’s landmarks.

Most of the streets in this area are closed to traffic, making it a great place to stroll around, viewing all the stores. We found a great pub (The Jailhouse) to sit for a bit with beers!

LADIES LOOS - if they’d been more accommodating I would have stayed to do some shopping. Only 4 working. Massive queue. No loo roll!! No attendant around to help.

Nice shopping mall in the heart of the city, lots of variety in types of shops and food and beverage outlets.
Beautiful dome at the top to see out of which is a nice touch.

I am planning a trip here whilst staying in Portrush . Should I drive , what are the parking fees ? Is there a park and ride to the centre ? Would there be a train station close by ?

The train can also drop you off at Lanyon Station...used to be called Central Station. Free shuttle bus to city centre, but very easily within walking distance to Victoria Centre, should you decide to do that instead. You would have to walk past St George's ( indoor) Market, which has a treasure trove of all kinds of things, including delicious food vendors. Good to visit.
Train from Portrush is easier in my opinion. Underground parking at Victoria Centre is quite expensive. People are friendly, so ask for directions if you get stuck. Have a great day out!

How far is Victoria Square from the cruise port? Is it walkable?

best to get taxi although buses meet most cruise liners and leave passengers off across from city hall which is then only 5 minute walk to Victoria sq

Is there a Marks and Spencer store in Victoria Square Shopping Centre

No, but there's one literally a two minute walk away in Donegall Place, the main shopping street.
