Editorial Reviews
Exclusive 2005 Australian collection features tracks that span her entire career while the liner notes were written by influential Australian Journalist and unabashed fan, Dino Scatena. Nancy Sinatra's influence remains plastered all over modern day pop culture. For instance, director Quentin Tarantino recently explained that his latest films, Kill Bill 1 & 2, were directly inspired by listening to Nancy's version of the song 'Bang Bang'. Tarantino used that recording to open the movie. Nancy Sinatra is undeniably one of the greats and this is a great CD. This collection features all of her biggest hits 'These Boots Are Made for Walking', 'Lighting's Girl' and 'How Does That Grab You, Darlin'?'. Warner. 2005.

I purchased this cd for its Sinatra/Lee Hazelwood duets. His voice alone is pretty raw, but together they made magic! The 60’s and 70’s instrumentals are a lot of horns and strings, but not overpowering. A very nice duet with her father is ageless. I’ve enjoyed hearing Nancy (and Lee) again.
This doesn't have all of her songs on this CD as Flowers on the Wall is not included. This is not the sellers fault! From what I can see that song is on These Boots are Made for Walking but not any other albums.
I love this CD. I listen to it over and over. Especially love the Lee Hazelwood duets. Love his deep voice. He is as good as Neil Diamond. Thanks Amazon. It has brought me so much listening pleasure. I even played it for a music professor and he was enthralled with the stories and music composition. There is a lot to be said for old dated music. The younger generation should try it. They will be pleasantly surprised. The meaning of the songs will be questioned.and keep one guessing. I read a synopsis online and it was recorded in the days of psychedelic drugs. I had no idea. I just love the arrangements and music and lyrics.
This collection of greatest hits proves that Frank Sinatra’s daughter Nancy can definitely hold her own...a fact she made clear when one hears these excellent numbers from her heyday. Songs ranging from ‘These Boots Are Made for Walkin’, ‘Sugar Town’, ‘Lightning’s Girl’, ‘Jackson’ (with Lee Hazlewood), ‘Somethin’ Stupid’ (with her father Frank), plus two recordings from 2004 make this CD a welcome addition to anybody’s collection of classic music from a bygone era. 😎✌️💖🌈🌟
