Women's Tennis Wins CUNYAC Opener, Defeat Brooklyn

The women's tennis team recorded an 8-1 victory against the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Friday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats won all three doubles and five of the six singles en route to improving to 2-0.

Natalie Ibelhaupt and Ava Deguzman won at first doubles, 8-2. Regina Kelley ands Erica Sheludenko recorded an 8-0 victory at third doubles.

 #2 Lauren Kraker (6-1, 6-1) and #3 Esther Benjamin each recorded singles wins.

The Bearcats hit the road again on Sunday for a 12:00 p.m. non-conference match at St. Joseph's College of Patchogue (Long Island).
