The Clark County School District (CCSD) earned a big honor for its science programs.

Eight CCSD schools and two educators were recognized for leading STEM initiatives with designations made by the Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation and Technology (OSIT).

“Incorporating science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts into student learning early on supports future interests in pursuing education and careers in the field,” said CCSD Interim Superintendent Dr. Brenda Larsen-Mitchell in a news release.
