I think that 3D low poly level map didn’t have teleporter node.

For instance I was following some SkyWolf’s digital tutorials of for Unreal Engine 1(final build),but it was done in Jazz Jackrabbit 3D Editor not in Unreal Editor of Unreal 1. Old Unreal Forum got very useful tutorials in Old Unreal Forum. So teleporter I think that it might not be working very well. Because I didn’t know of how to add teleporter node. It wasn’t even functioning properly. At least Noah_12317 helped me with missing files in Unreal Editor 1. LEOTCK mixed some files of Unreal Tournament within Jazz Jackrabbit.
