Undergraduate Degrees

The teaching and research during an undergraduate course at USW connect you to the world around us, engaging you with challenges and opportunities to make tomorrow better. These courses typically take three years to complete.

Foundation Degrees

Study on a Foundation degree is combined with employment-based learning, so you learn in the workplace as well as the classroom. On successful completion, you will have the option to top-up your qualification to a full Honours degree with an extra year of full-time study.

Sandwich Courses

Some of our courses have a year of work experience, called a ‘sandwich year’, built-in. It’s a great opportunity to spend time in the workplace and understand what is required of graduates, as well as gaining relevant experiences to talk about at interviews.

Study at your local college

USW works with colleges throughout South Wales, so you can study a university course at college full-time or part-time. You could save time and money, continue working, juggle family life and stay closer to home.
