University of Detroit Mercy Reviews
Rating 3.61 out of 5 705 reviews
My time at the University of Detroit Mercy has been truly wonderful. Right from the start, I felt like I belonged to a close-knit community that values learning and helping others. The professors are not just experts in their fields; they genuinely care about their students and want to see us succeed. I've had some amazing hands-on experiences that have really brought my studies to life. One thing I hope could improve is access to mental health support. While counseling services are available, it can be tough to get an appointment when you need it most. More resources in this area would make a big difference in supporting students' well-being.
Because of the tremendous generosity and support I've received from everyone at the University of Detroit Mercy, my experience here has been nothing but positive. Warmth and inclusivity permeate every aspect of the university, from the admissions process to regular encounters with instructors, staff, and other students. In addition to being teachers, the faculty members act as mentors, constantly on hand to provide support and direction. Students at UDM work together and support one another both academically and personally, which is what really makes the school unique. Furthermore, the university's dedication to outreach and service highlights how important it is to give back to the larger community. Overall, UDM is more than just a place of learning; it's a nurturing environment where students are empowered to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
University of Detroit Mercy offers a safe and open environment for students studying in a variety of fields, such as dentistry, engineering, chemistry, or liberal arts. I have never been in such an academic environment where are the professors and faculty constantly work to provide the best educational experience possible. I can say with assurance that the opportunity provided by the university is unparalleled.
I only hope that currently some of the buildings are more refurbished or renovated. As some parts are clearly both newer and nicer to be in, and others are clearly old both in design and amenities.
