Incoming freshman fall 2024(international student). I was curious to see what people in Rutgers do during the summer. I know many take classes and many go back home but being an international student what else can I do that is fun and productive during the summer?

NB is surrounded by many towns, there are parks, nature walk, canoeing, theatre’s , you can take a train to NYC, take the train down the Jersey shore beach area. There are so many activities even though the campus seems empty may during the summer months. Most summers, students go home or take part time summer jobs to offset their expenses too. You can take the Uber to Robbinsville Hindu Temple, one of the largest in the United States. I’m also 2024 freshmen coming in the fall. Welcome, I’m a Manchester City supporter.
