Here's when Luke Combs' Nashville bar Category 10 will open at former Wildhorse Saloon
Country superstar Luke Combs will open his Lower Broadway bar Category 10 on Saturday, Nov. 2 after over a year of development. The opening will follow Combs' participation in the Concert for Carolina benefit to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts on Oct. 26.
Named after his 2016 breakout single "Hurricane," Category 10 takes over the 69,000-square-foot, multi-level building previously occupied by Wildhorse Saloon at 120 2nd Avenue N. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and a lineup of live music, line dancing and a light show begins at 11 a.m.
The massive bar features five separate entertainment spaces: the central honky-tonk with two bars and a retail shop; Hurricane Hall designed to hold up to 1,500 guests for ticketed concerts; an elevated bourbon lounge called The Still; the 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar filled with televisions for game-watching and The Eye, a 7,000-square-foot rooftop.
While most of the bars and lounges in Category 10 will be fully operational starting at the November opening, The Eye rooftop area will remain under development. Opry Entertainment Group, the company Combs partnered with on the bar, said in a statement that The Eye is set to open in early 2025.
In addition to a selection of bourbon that Combs hand-picked for the bar, Category 10 will serve up a full menu of food inspired by Combs' North Carolina roots, including blue crab cakes, the Smoky Mountain Chicken Sandwich, a barbecue burger and venison meatloaf.
Category 10 signature cocktails are named after some of Combs' hits, like the Beautiful Crazy Sangria and a fruity vodka drink called Ain’t No Love.
