WWE's documentary content has always been of very high quality, but the company is currently setting a new bar for itself with The Undertaker: The Last Ride. The second episode was even better than the first and continued to pull back the curtain on the Deadman's legendary career.

The second episode followed on from the first, picking up with The Undertaker after WrestleMania 33 and following him until 'Mania 34. It showed tons of amazing footage and allowed fans to learn more than ever about this legendary wrestler.

10 Why He Didn't Retire

One of the main things that this episode taught people was exactly why The Undertaker didn't actually retire after WrestleMania 33. The Deadman had left his coat and hat in the ring, and fans presumed that meant he was walking away, but that ended up not being the case.

That was all because of his personal pride. Undertaker didn't want WrestleMania 33 to be his last match because he hated his performance. This episode showed him rewatching the match eight months later, and he struggled to sit through it, which is why he came back.

9 Apologizing To Roman

Speaking of his WrestleMania 33 match, it was something that clearly ate up The Undertaker and caused him issues. 'Taker admitted he felt sorry for Roman Reigns as he didn't feel like he gave him the match he deserved.

Undertaker even sought out Roman backstage at WrestleMania 34 and apologized to him for the quality of the match. Considering how legendary the Deadman is, it was certainly shocking to see him in this way, and even Roman was clearly surprised.

8 Predicting His AJ Styles Match

During the episode, The Undertaker was shown backstage at the Royal Rumble to support his wife as she competed in the women's Rumble match. It showed him watching the monitor during AJ Styles' match on the show.

He actually told the camera that AJ was the one guy who got away, that he wishes he had worked with. 'Taker stated that AJ "got it," clearly showing his respect for him. Little did he know then that down the line they'd compete in the first-ever Boneyard match.

7 The Importance Of Michelle McCool

Throughout both episodes so far, Michelle McCool has played a big part in everything The Undertaker does. It is clear how important she is in his life, and he didn't waste any time in making that very clear.

He said she deserves a medal for everything that he has put her through and how she still gets on with everything with a big smile. The respect he has for his wife was clear and was certainly interesting to learn about.

6 Falling In Love

Michelle McCool and Undertaker

While Michelle McCool now clearly works as a rock for The Undertaker in life, the two of them also discussed their life and how they became an item. McCool admitted that Undertaker and Kane were originally the two men she was most afraid to meet in wrestling.

Undertaker stated it was Michelle's work ethic that originally attracted him, and he then stated an incident with a football is what confirmed his love. He spoke about how the wrestlers were throwing a ball around an arena, and McCool was one of the best, which he loved.

5 His Surgery

The documentary really gave fans a detailed look at The Undertaker's hip surgery. The film crew was in the hospital the entire day, and it showed him all the way through. From him reeling off how many surgeries he has had to actually showing the operation in some gruesome fashion.

The Undertaker even had his theme music playing as he was put to sleep on the operating table, with Vince McMahon winding him up about how he should be out of the hospital the same day.

4 His Workouts

The Undertaker claimed he shouldn't have been in the ring at WrestleMania 33 and described himself as "bloated Elvis" during this episode. Therefore he pushed himself to the extreme to not allow that to happen again.

The documentary showed just how hard he worked to get back into the best shape possible. His workout routines were incredibly intense, and the fact he could still be that dedicated at that point in his career proved why he is such a legend.

3 Primo Was His Training Partner

Primo-Colon

When Undertaker was preparing for WrestleMania 34, he had his own personal WWE ring to workout in. While he was able to do some stuff alone, he eventually needed a dance partner, and it ended up being Primo Colon who worked with him.

Undertaker really put over Primo as a solid worker, but it would no doubt be a surprise to most fans considering how Primo was barely used in the past few years. However, it was he who helped get the Deadman in ring shape for his match with John Cena.

2 Wished His WrestleMania 34 Match Was Longer

After having a poor match the year prior and almost retiring, The Undertaker worked incredibly hard to be ready for WrestleMania 34. He looked great and had a good showing against John Cena, but the match was only a quick one.

While the Phenom was pleased with how it all came out, as soon as he got to the back, he was discussing how he wanted it to be longer. Undertaker stated he had trained for a 30-minute battle, and this is clearly one of the big reasons why he kept working after this.

1 His Relationship With Vince McMahon

The biggest takeaway from this episode was the relationship between The Undertaker and Vince McMahon. The episode really dove into that and showcased just how close they are, with both men stating how important the other is to them.

Vince actually began crying when talking about Undertaker, labeling him the most loyal man he knows. While Undertaker said, he would take a bullet for Vince as Michelle McCool revealed that 'Taker's son's middle name is Vincent in honor of the WWE Chairman.
