Its a derivative story referencing Rocky and Million Dollar Baby. However that is not necessarily a bad thing. But it is amateurishly made. It is stilted and the feel of the movie is unauthentic in feel and dialogue, It's like a cardboard cutout of what the movie could have been if the directing, script, acting and cinematography were done with imagination, but it wasn't. It was stuffed with endless cliches. If you watch it while you are cleaning the house and doing laundry, you can get thru it.
