The Red Umbrella is a licensed and inspected guest suite; District of Peachland Bed & Breakfast license #5376.

Relax and unwind with panoramic lakeviews. Plan your day's adventures while enjoying breakfast on the patio. Sip on the local wine you bought while dinner is on the BBQ. For those chilly evenings, cozy up in front of the fireplace. Your well appointed 800 sq ft suite is centrally located to restaurants,wineries,breweries, and local hiking, biking and snowshoe trails.

The space
The spacious and bright ground level suite is self-contained, with a separate keyless entrance, and one designated off street parking space.

To meet licensing requirements we have to have a legal, inspected suite that meets building codes, and we also have a fire inspection every two years to ensure that we meet the fire safety code.

We are located on a quiet street, with no through traffic.

The suite has a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ on the patio.

Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, eggs and English muffins are provided to get you started. Olive oil, salt, pepper and other spices are also included.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans to cool you during the summer months, and a gas fireplace to warm you in the cooler months.

The bedroom has a king sized bed with USB charging outlets on each side of the bed.

The sofa easily converts to a bed; extra bed linens will be provided when needed.

There is a full sized washer and dryer for your use; detergent pods are included.

You will find a small cooler and ice packs...you can pack a picnic lunch and head out to enjoy the scenery or beach. Beach towels and bug spray are provided. Ask us for recommendations or directions to local hiking, biking and snowshoeing trails.

Downtime? A selection of books, boardgames and jigsaw puzzles are available.

Guest access
The guest suite is self-contained and you will have the space, and patio, to yourselves.

Drive up the driveway and park on the flat area in front of the “Guest Parking” sign. The suite is accessed through the blue door that you will see from the parking spot.

To enter, you will need to enter the four digit code on the keypad, and then press the padlock symbol. Your door code will be given to you prior to check in.

Other things to note
Hosts live upstairs, and are available to answer any questions you may have.

We are required by the Canadian government to charge 5% GST. This will show as a Community Fee, collected by Airbnb on our behalf, and is submitted by us to the government. The Red Umbrella GST #764767 307RT0001
