One of my favourite parts I visited in Korea. The park itself is very pretty, and they have a long suspension bridge which lights up at night and can be seen from Ilsan beach. There's a pretty lighthouse in the middle of the park, plus plenty of winding tracks showing of the rocky coastline around the headland.

The money shot however is at the tip of the park, where the stunning Daegwanggyo Bridge over to the tiny Daewangam rock... the whole area is super picturesque and a must see in Ulsan.

Definitely worth the detour that was involved. The staff was super friendly and we had a beautiful day outside to enjoy the beverages. They are a bit of an acquired taste - but my husband absolutely loved it.

The first scene of Ulsan is #Taehwagang National Garden #화화국가가원ul ! This park, close to 840,000 square meters, has a large area of reed in winter, a large area of peonies in spring, and a bamboo forest. The bamboo grove stretches for about 4 km along the Taehwagang River. It has been a natural garden with wild bamboo for many years and has become a healing space in the city centre. At night there is also a garden in the bamboo forest with LED lights in the evening called "Galaxy Waterway".

There are many historical and cultural heritage sites in Silla and Gaya in Korea, especially 94 cultural properties in the Taehwa River basin. It originated in the west of Ulsan, and in different seasons, it becomes egret, crows' habitat.

Located in Ulsan, Ganjeolgot is beautiful enough to be called the flower of Ulsan. If you come to Ganjeolgot, you can see beautiful waves. Also, rocks and caves are continuous along the coastline, so you can see beautiful scenery. You can feel nature as it is on the trails along the beach. Ganjeolgot is a cultural heritage with various cultures and histories. Ganjeolgot is a special place where the beauty, culture, and history of nature coexist. There is a free shuttle bus in operation. Private vehicles are restricted in the area of Ganjeolgot. There is a drama house within a five-minute walk. I recommend it as a healing destination for Ganjeolgot with beautiful scenery. The scenery is beautiful, which attracts a lot of tourists.

This was my first time going to a bamboo forest and it was so beautiful. The bamboo was so tall and green, I just wanted to stay in there forever. Turns out the bamboo causes the forest to change the temperature and makes it a lot cooler inside. The trail in the forest stretches out to about 4km long and there are plenty of photo ops inside.

A beautiful temple and a wonderful way to spend a fall afternoon or escape from the heat in the summer. Seoknamsa has a beautiful tree-lined walk up to the main temple. From there, you will see and hear a wonderful waterfall.

This temple is located in a wonderful area that now has a few coffee shops and sits at the foot of Gaji Mountain. There are a few restaurants in the parking lot by the temple entrance and just down the road there are a few places to pick up some delicious apples.

After the drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" it seems that many people have an interest in the whale. So as am I. I'm glad I was here. I especially liked the short film about the whale. After walking around the Whale village, I felt peace and good vibe. In this village, you can feel old-Korean vibe too. I liked how Ulsan appreciates and thinks about the whale. Since I heard that before they caught a lot of whales. And now it's forbidden. And thanks to places like this one can be assured of this.

It's a nice place for strawberry picking. Try to come early before other tourists come n pick away the best of strawberries. This place does not have pizza meal service like other places. Yet the kids still had fun at their play centre. So adults can have a quiet time eating the sweet strawberries they just plucked while the kids are enjoying at the pay area.

Ulsan Museum is housed in a stylish building adjacent to Ulsan Grand Park. The permanent exhibitions are about the history of Ulsan divided into the industrial history and the non-industrial history covering the Stone Age to the Japanese Occupation period. Of the two sections, the industrial part was much better done and very informative as I only knew about the Hyundai auto plant prior to my visit. The general history section had a bit much to read but also had some good displays like the replica of the petroglyphs found in Ulsan. The temporary exhibition was about Ulsan during the Silla period specifically which would only be interesting to total history buffs.

The name ‘Ganwolsan’ means a sacred mountain like ‘Sinbulsan.’ As high as 1,069 m, it has steep rocky cliffs on the east and highlands with gentle slopes on the west. In early August, the mountain lily blooms and creates a mystique view in harmony with the short silver grass around the peak.

Ganwolsan is a favorite place for many hikers to watch the silver grass in autumn.
The wide silver grass plains in the altitude of more than 1000m offer special points of interest, unlike other mountains.

In the fall of the Yeongnam Alps, where the silver grass makes their appearance in the autumn, the Ulju Odyssey, the mountain concert, the mountain marathon, and the mountain climbing tournament are held every year.
