Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Tyrone Sterling.

The 29-year-old left back joins from Dover Athletic having previously played for both Dartford and Cray Wanderers.

Manager Neil Smith said, “I’m delighted to have signed Tyrone. He’s another local player and an experienced player at this level. He came close to promotion with Dover Athletic last season and I believe it says a lot about our ambition as a club that he wants to be a part of what we’re looking to achieve this season.”

Tyrone Sterling added, “It’s great to have joined my local club. It’s a new beginning, I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and having a great season.”

Manager Neil Smith also provided a further update on the squad, “I remain in talks with last season’s squad and the only additional news I have at present is that Ross Flitney has left the Club and that I’d like to thank him for all his efforts last season. We have signed a new goalkeeper although at present we’re unable to release the details as he is completing the terms of his departure at his previous club, but I do look forward to announcing and welcoming him to our club shortly.”

“I’d like to thank the supporters for their patience and assure them that we are working on strengthening the squad and I look forward to confirming further signings as and when they are completed.”

The players currently contracted for the 2017/18 season are;

  • Alan Dunne
  • Daniel Johnson
  • George Porter
