‘Machine’: £20m Leeds player stuns pundit at Qatar World Cup

Stephen Warnock has praised Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams on Twitter for his performance for the USA against England at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The former Leeds defender was hugely impressed by Adams, and believes that the Elland Road star is a machine.

The 23-year-old started for the USA against England on Friday evening.

The 2022 Qatar World Cup match ended in a goalless draw.

The USA were arguably the better team, and one of the best players on the pitch was Adams.

The American, who joined Leeds from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022 for £20 million (Sky Sports), was a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the park.

Adams was more defensive than Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah and did his job perfectly well.

The Leeds star read the game perfectly, closed down space, worked tirelessly, and imposed himself in the middle of the park.

Adams has been playing well for Leeds this season, and it seems that he has just taken that momentum to Qatar.

For USA to make a big impact at the 2022 World Cup, in our view, Adams will have to maintain the level of performance he produced against England.
