Steve D Slow depressing and not at all interesting. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/12/23 Full Review Bruce D I saw this movie as a teenager and thought it was excellent. Then again, my brother was in it as a sniper at the end, so that's probably why. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Worst movie EVER by Burt Lancaster. I'd rather sit through Howard The Duck. Comes off as a low budget indie movie, even for a 1970's flick. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok, This film is dated, from the late 70s. It's too long, to begin with. I'm no prude, but the language is awful -- can you imagine Burt Lancaster saying the MF word? I watched it because of the cast, especially Charlie McGraw, my favorite film noir guy, and wonderful Richard Widmark, who made the film palatable for me. You know the film is bad when you only see what the director was attempting to do. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review william s A worthy thriller/drama where the cast is A list and the script is close behind. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Marred by dialogue-heavy scenes and an endurance test of duration. Like Taking of Pelham 123, I feel I will gain more from repeated viewings. Charles Durning is perfect as the sacrificial lamb in a corrupt world. It's all very good. But for the aforementioned, it could have received warmer reviews by first-time viewers, (like me). As a second-time viewer, I feel exactly the same. Could easily lose half an hour of chat and a much cleverer designed bomb coming out of a chopper. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Bernard Drew Gannett News Service Nothing happens. Oct 30, 2019 Full Review Ruth Batchelor Los Angeles Free Press Twilight's Last Gleaming is above all a suspense film and the music is what keeps us in its grip - the music and Robert Aldrich's professionalism. Oct 25, 2019 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Intelligent sociopolitical thriller that is effective despite being overlong, stiffly acted and executing a rather nutty plot. Rated: B Aug 10, 2009 Full Review Ken Hanke Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC) It's easier to admire Twilight for its intent and its astonishing cast than for what it actually achieves.
